You can say many things about Destiny fo sho, but that's kind of the brilliant thing I derived from him back in the day; to always attempt to tackle a "dilemma" from a more baseline approach - what is this, what does it entail, who does it affect, why is it necessarily bad, etc. Rather basic stuff, really, takes a while but is always healthy. And see, if people focused more on bringing arguments as to why this could be bad on a broader scale - f.ex. the argument of her appealing to many possibly weak-minded people, who're using a lot of money that could be better spent elsewhere on that medium, possibly developing a weird relationship to her, fueling into these broader issues of economic inequality and such - a bit of a stretch, but to my mind a MUCH better argument and a discussion actually worth having. It's just a shame, because there are worthy discussions to be had, but most of those starting discussions can not transfer upwards on the taxonomical level and so resort to projecting their own, personal, subjective opinions on him. Dumb, bad, sucks.

OR one man - multiple women, all across the world, and we see the polygamy show up in multiple cultures which were isolated from each other in their evolutionary development, but we have only a few historical and anecdotal rare examples of cultures where we see the women maintaining a sexual/romantic/reproductive relationship with multiple male partners, where the women are doing it openly within the society and it's encouraged. The examples of that compared to how many civilizations had arranged marriages or men with multiple wives, it's obvious that human nature has all coalesced in one general direction and not the other. Because of this... it's safe to assume that the vast majority of the world is seeing the entire iDubbbz controversy through the lens of this monogamy based, one-male-one(or more) female value system. They grew up in it, their parents fit into it, it became the basic system that we see everything romance/dating-based through. This is just the way that people across the globe view relationships. As far as the discussion of philosophical morality surrounding the topics you brought up, I think thats a more interesting conversation than sticking to iDubbbz situation
