Major geek alert here lmao but the fact that the members literally and figuratively represented 'The Sound' which is an abstract concept through their choreo and their own produced music is crazy!!! This song is highly underrated! The metronome playing in the bg suggests they are using Time in relation to Sound. They even use kick beats to symbolize the heartbeat. Meanwhile, their b-side track from the 2020 album Go Live (The Tortoise and The Hare) represented Sound in relation to Time. There are so many references made to their previous songs in The Sound MV too! Stray Kids are such geniuses bro!

@@orion5445 Sure! Wait I'll list them out. Check out the MV's for- 1. Thunderous (reference to lightning. The song Thunderous basically disses haters who claim that their music, which is self-produced by group members, is too loud and noisy. So they go even louder and noisier hahaha. Listen with headphones, you won't regret! ) 2. Levanter (reference to yellow tinted sky) 3. Circus Japanese MV (cause of the corset the members like Han and Changbin are wearing) 4. Top Japanese MV (cause of the similar message of song through lyrics and post-apocalyptic theme) 5. Scars Japanese MV (cause of the similar message of the song through lyrics and post apocalyptic theme) Also musically speaking, check out The Tortoise and The Hare (TTATH in short form haha): There is unfortunately no MV for this one but there's a lyric video by Zaty Farhani. Use headphones to listen to this one to get the full experience. You'll hear the pendulum swaying with the fast ticking of the beats in the bg. It's brilliant. Now hear this new song, "The Sound" again and you'll hear the metronome at 50BPM almost imitating the pendulum that we heard in TTATH. The kick beats are heard too in The Sound, it's almost mimicking a heartbeat and reminds us of the ticking beats in TTATH. Note: In case if you're new to K-pop or if you are a Baby Stay, just letting you know Japanese MVs usually don't have English subs cause they usually reject the idea dominance of English as a global language, so you'll have to refer to the lyrics from separate lyric videos by Zaty Farhani anyway. Also there are so many other references I could make which are all just in theory w.r.t their own alternate universe hahaha, but the ones I listed were definitely there. So I hope this helped.

"THE SOUND" is My Favourite StrayKids Japanese Title Track now.!! I Fell in love with the song as soon as " This is The Sound, Its Our Sound" and "Darawara Da" Started..!! A song starting with Our Changbin is Born to be a MASTERPIECE.!! The lyrics are so beautiful! Lyrics along with this music gives me goosebumps!

Thank you and so glad you reacted to this video. this is from their Japanese channel, a lot of people don't realize they are not subscribed to Stray Kids Japanese Channel. they have released teasers and a movie main trailer for this song, and recently released another the audio track for this album called There. It is a beautiful vocal song. And Han released a audio track with English subtitles on their KZfaq channel 2 days ago called Volcano. It is amazing song. Love to hear you reactions on those 2 songs. I am not sure they we will get a music video for the song There but I am thinking we might since we have teasers for it.

okay so apparently there was a mix up when they released the audio on streaming platforms bcz the "oohh's" for the bridge has only chan but its actually felix's part. so what u hear in the MV is the actual audio that should have been released. so i hope they fix that bcz we were all confused on why we heard chan in the audio and then the MV having felix. Then it was js another confirmation that it is indeed felix's part when they performed The Sound during their encore concert in Japan.

Had you not reacted to this song, I would’ve definitely missed it. I am not a fan of Stray Kids; I barely know them, to be honest. I don’t know all their names, except for Chan and Felix whom I came to know thanks to a few KZfaq shorts, and Seungmin who sang Here Always from Hometown Chax3. I tried to listen to a song or two at one point, but none of them appealed to me. This one strangely did; and I like it!!! You bet it’s going to be added to my soundtracks list! The chorus is already stuck in my brain!
