The PaK40/3 auf Sfl.38 Ausf. H (or Marder III H) is a rank II German tank destroyer with a battle rating of 3.0 (AB/RB/SB). It was introduced in Update 1.47 "Big Guns".
The Marder III H is a step above the basic Marder III. As it is in Germany's open - top tank destroyer line, it's calling card is its superb firepower; in fact, it has the most powerful gun for the battle rating 2.0 - 3.0 - 4.0 range - APCBC is almost always enough to penetrate and destroy any tank on the battlefield, and with APCR, it has the highest penetration of any tank for its battle rating range - even at battle rating 5.0 your gun will remain competitive.
The Marder III Ausf. H mounts a 75 mm gun slightly surpassing those on the late Panzer IV's, thus its only disadvantages are its weak armour and its open encasement.
Being a modified Pz.38(t) tank, it is one of the more mobile of the German tanks - nearly matching some Russian tanks. It has a better gun close-range wise and has better armour coverage, being curved to the sides, unlike the earlier Marder III.

Love the Marder III H too. Got an eight kill game at 4.3 which is where I think you were in the first game. My best game with it to date. That gun punches well above its weight.

I was complete shit at this game, ended up hating it for all the reasons... but the level of detail has become astounding. The gunner using the traverse and elevation controls, the soaked rain gear on down to the mud being flung from the tracks. I can't play it, but my level of appreciation is through the roof. Also, I love TDs so this was awesome.

Play new M51 IDF plz. They say it is a mediocre tank and doesn't worth buying it. I want to see its capability in good players hands. Really can' decide which to buy merkava or super sherman.

I have it and I don't think it's bad even with Gaijin's implementation of Heat. You can find yourself double tapping things you should have taken out in one shot. Armour isn't much at its BR. A nice long range sniping duel it can do very well, cancels out German snipers or at least gives you a good answer.

How does he hit all those far away targets ? I cant see that he adjust his sights. Does he just use experience and aim higher ?

I have a question. Why the Marder who has the same gun as the Pz.4H have higher penetration? 151mm compared to the 140mm on the Panzer 4

Marder has a pak40 and panz 4 has a kwk40- it’s got different guns

Longer barrel, which leads to higher velocity and more pen.

Pak 40 also uses longer rounds (more powder load I believe) while Pz IVs use a shorter one that's easier to move and load inside the tank

It's a shame that now the part of the map where you sit yo shoot enemies to A Zone is Red colour blocked. The Game is much less fun with all the blocked parts in every map.

Another massively under tiered German vehicle at 3.0. The Na-To is worse in every way = 3.3. So is the M10 = 3.3.
