She did sell out a live concert hall in January in Tokyo. About 8,000 seat concert hall. Not to mention the online streaming tickets. Hololive is also really big in Japan, not to mention their marketing team.

I believe she has a recording of at least one of her songs performances on her KZfaq. Michizure is the song, Shout in Crisis is the concert name.

Her birthday live stream also topped over 150k concurrent viewers possibly over 170k. Of course a lot of the online concerts that hololive does, they do insanely well.

As her motto goes, she is our she is our diamond in the rough, our shooting star 🌠 Suisei Hoshimachi. There are many diamonds in the rough in the vtuber community when it comes to vocal talent however, but Suisei is definitely top tier. Music is subjective, but you still need technical prowess to be on this level.

YASSSSSS, wii-wii-woo is such a gym workout song for real. Such a damn banger. TEMPLATE is also a great recommendation. Stellar Stellar MV is also damn beautiful because the instrumental is so damn beautiful. Loving this reactions videos!

i would say she is commercially successful. the album this song is in is in the top ten downloaded albums in japan in 2023 accoding to billboard. trying to buy tickets for her concert online was a bloodbath. i doubt she would have trouble filling a venue unter 20k seats or so.

I would just add she's commercially successful.... in Japan. The international market for VTubers, especially singers has not really become anywhere near mainstream yet. She is definitely setting a standard though, no matter who really breaks the international barriers, it will be artists like Suisei who was chipping away at those barriers and she will deserve the title of being one of the OG's. What a great artist and has the humility to set her up to be huge in the future. What a Star.

@@renoslash1890 depends what you consider successful. Shes no Taylor swift of course and likely never will be. But her album specter reached top 40 on the worldwide iTunes charts and reached high positions in practically every western and East Asian nation. Including number one in all the nordics lol. Even in competitive South Korea she placed high.

@@Dvrth yeah altho her original album have some space between them, she post so cover song here and there to fill the gap. Also she's a streamer so she stream here and there, but she said she had to decrease stream this month because of another album in the work.

dont worry, alot of us are aware. ppl compare the vtuber community with some of the crazy 4chan stories and whatnot. there are indeed such ppl inhere. but its the minority. they are after all present in every community.
