I just want to share my dad’s bladder cancer diagnosis with you in hopes you can share with your friend. My dad was diagnosed in 1994 with bladder cancer. The dr told us that if one has cancer then bladder cancer is a good one to have because it is contained somewhat like a balloon filled with air. It doesn’t spread fast. Sadly after 29 years in 2023 my dad passed. The cancer traveled to his kidneys. The treatment was not the normal chemo/radiation, but was surgery every time a new tumor came and a chemo pill. My dad didn’t have side effects but did end up with probably close to 10 surgeries in total. But he had 29 years of life to live after his bladder cancer diagnosis. Hugs to your friend.
