Update on Ace - I have gotten him involved in playing some of the games kzfaq.infoUgkx1_veP7CApJK_GWy_TczaMciuG64PqJeU and I can see a difference in his confidence already! My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!

LOL You don’t teach this on a walk. But it’s pretty easy to train! Rally obedience is a pretty fun dog sport that has you doing a lot of neat maneuvers like this and the main foundation of it is having a heel command. They’re not really tricks so much as just practicing your heel-work in many different ways. 🙂

Every time I came home from work I would put my sweet Nahla to work fetching primarily and tricks to earn fetch. Routine. Afterwards, "time to get rinsed off" and she would stand at the hose waiting while I put the chuck-it away and then go rinse the mud off her chest, legs, belly and feet. Others would walk by, other dogs even and she wouldn't move... Because "it's time to get rinsed off." It was like I gave her a bath every day 😂. And cool her off a bit before going inside. Forget trying to wipe mud off a dog. 90 psi out my hose. Never once do I recall her ever moving from getting rinsed. It was extremely rare for me to use a leash... But then she was always glued to me. Wrestle before dinner with her rope, would "settle down" to lay with you on the couch watching a movie. She was so stable as she got older all fear of her doing something out of ordinary went away, even in new places and events at the park (non dog area - as long as I had her ball.). Would wake you up at 6:30 with a lick to the face. Crate trained, but never at home. She slept on the floor next to me or my wife. And then cancer out of nowhere took her in 3 weeks; she was gone at not yet 4. 😥 A people dog, in them the grace of God is demonstrated being free from prejudice, in that they "keep no record of wrongs", and their "love never fails"

I've said it before and I will say it again, I love how much progress Inertia made! And the funny thing is, watching her grow up since day one, it makes even me feel proud when I see her succeed in something that was difficult for her... She is such a smart and sweet dog! Thank you so much for all that you teach us! I've been prepping for a year and in five weeks I finaly can bring my handsome boy ( a Manchester Terriër) home with us... So I hope I can teach him to be just as a well behaved doggie as Inertia AND Indy are!

I started watching this series yesterday and I'm in love with it! This is so real, there's no short clips showing how the dog accomplishes the task right away. This is trial and error, zak is showing how the dog messes up sometimes and how to correct her until she does what she is asked. I used to have a dog but he passed away recently, I really miss him and there's nothing I can do. looking at this made me realize how I could have done better with him and trained him properly. I'm only thirteen, I want to get another dog but my parents refuse. My dream dog is a black Goldendoodle, I think they are the cutest and most intelligent dog out there for me. Then again I'm only thirteen and cant make choices of my own, no matter how much I want one my parents are still going to say no. It would be really helpful if any of you know any good breeders that you can tell me about. I'm going to wait for my birthday this year on October 14th hopefully my parents come around to it. Zak you have really inspired me to reach out for another chance, you are an amazing dog trainer and pet owner. Stay safe during the corona pandemic and please keep inertia and your family safe. My dog, Kai, barks out the slider and at the apt door (when people or the neighbor's dog walks by) and at first, I was doing the "come when called", but now, because he has started to look at me immediately when he hears a sound, I reward him for listening/looking without barking. I catch him in that moment (even if it's a quick one) and reward. Don't know if that's the right way to do it, but just thought I'd share that this video really resonates with where I'm at with my new boy. :)

I wach you 6 weeks after choosing our border collie puppy Andromeda. I already kinda knew what I was doing but I've never experienced having a puppy, ive only delt with adult dogs and man its a whole new universe! My girl is 6 months now and she is doing very well! Her stay is by far the best, and she knows some cool tricks already. You've help me understand I need to take it snow and keep working on things day to day

My family and I have finally found two lab puppies born two days ago. I have been annoying my parents since my last b-day to get me a dog. Finally, we made a deposit on the pups I mentioned. I finally have a puppy of my own, it'll be two weeks tomorrow that I've had her. She's an Australian Cattle Dog, and I've never had my own puppy before. My family has had dogs, but I've never been their "master," and they've never been so young!! I think the way you run your business is phenomenal. You're obviously an expert with dogs and very personable. I just love how you place the Bark Boxes through most scenes for subliminal marketing. Thank you so much for your great videos! I feel in the last 2 or 3 videos Inertia's mature side has really shown through. She is doing so great on her back stall and her sit pretty is to die for!! Your bond is so cute, I love when she jumps up and comes to you no matter what. My favorite part of Inertia is how she is always "smiling" when doing training, she looks so pleased with herself! I am getting a border collie puppy soon, and your videos have taught me close to everything I need to know. I remember when I first stumbled upon your channel, you were already on episode 5 or something, and I went back and watched all the episodes and some of your past videos. Inertia is doing great, she enjoys her training, that's so nice to see. I was thinking that maybe practice on a wobble board would improve her stall behavior. It seems she's worried about balance/falling when you try to stand up.
