Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This KZfaq channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

I’ve been watching Rick Shiels videos for a long while. Really love the content. I love golf. I play in the summer as much as I can and I try minimum 2 times in a week with my work schedule. I’m an 11 handicap, and have only broken 80 maybe 10-15 times in the 15+ years I’ve been playing. Never had any lessons self taught. I consistently score 81-85 for 18, but not regularly into the 70’s. My best round to date I started out 3 birdies in a row, followed with 3 bogies and pars. Shot even on the front and +4 on the back 9 for a 76. Awesome 73!!! Way to go Rick!

Well played guys. The last 2 break 75’s have been special for me being an exiled Fifer. My grandparents worked at Elie Golf Club in the 80s and I also bought my Tommy Armour 845s there in ‘92. Still playing them today!

As a new golfer…. That feeling or breaking through some hard moments on the course (struggling with driver, chipping, long irons) and having a round where everything is on….. makes up for all the headache and grinding. GOLF. love the video, Rick keep going!

This is wonderful. Just watched it and I can assure you the wind can be brutal! My son-in-law and I have been fortunate to play Elie several times. It really is a beautiful course. I recall one time in particular when it was blowing a gale and he, a good golfer, took driver off the tee on 15 and then off the fairway to just get on the green. He was chuffed to come off with par. I’ll be watching the Crail episode soon, as that’s another course we’ve played several times. Another stunning course in an area blessed with so many.

Rick's mental game is so much better. When you played the silly double bogey but then reset and played back to back birdie's, was so enjoyable to watch. A short while ago Rick would have let that double bogey get in his head and effect the next holes.. but it now seems like he's made a break through with controlling his mind and trusting his game... Sensational video as usual 👍

Hi Ricky, I’ve liked, commented and Subscribed to your channel for just under 3 years. I believe and trust your most important advice and that is to “take my medicine”. If I try the impossible shot, it never works for me and the hole ends up being a double or triple bogey. Keep it up matey, I feel your pain and your successes along the way to consistently breaking 75. Hopefully, I can break 90 one day😂😂😂😂

Thank you for this video/vlogg! I was there at this golfclub, it must have been 22 years ago. 😁👍⛳️ I also realize that I miss Elie Gc and links golf. I Will soon be back and travelling from my homecountry, in Sweden.
