Amazing Bogor. We have been there twice. A lot of people around the botanical garden speak English and Dutch. I think 10 years ago we stayed at the same homestay. I can remember that place. The specialist cuisines in Bogor are Soto Bogor and kripik talas ( chips made from another kind of potato). Have nice days in Bogor.

Love your vlog, I'm sorry about the kids .. my husband experienced the same ,i was so embarrassed 😩. As for botanical garden its takes us at least 3 visits to explored every corner of the botanical garden (the green house,the dutch cemetery,the herbal garden , the museums). Hope you enjoy your stay in bogor 🥰🥰

Ketan (sticky rice) bakar Bogor is one of the famous dessert in Bogor city that added a little bit of sugar mixed with the fried coconut. So on taste mixing of the salty from ketan itself,sweety and tasty from fried coconut.

Hi Luke and Naomi... It's nice to see you visiting Bogor. While you are in Bogor, try to visit Sentul area... There're so many waterfalls around there. Maybe it needs only 30-45 minutes from center of Bogor city. You can visit Curug Leuwi Hejo, Curug Putri Kencana and others... There are some waterfalls which locations are close each other. I think you will be like all of them....

You guys should try JCo Donuts Indonesians donuts and the tourist who comes to Indonesia especially Jakarta area mostly overlooked the botanical garden The botanical gardens in Bogor is arguably one of the best and the biggest botanical laboratories in Asia

00:00 they're friendly, but they said inappropriate things, and Im gonna tell their moms 😐. 02:47 Bihun = rice noodle , sohun = glass noodle 05:26 that is jengkol or dogfruit you can cook it and eat it with rice, but it has unique smell/bad smell like stink bean. Again great video, very enjoyable and I realy appreciate that you guys learn basic Indonesian language, thank you 🙏😃

further south from Bogor city, up in the mountain there is a zoo safari park cisarua region, further up you will see tea plantation and then you will reach Puncak Pass. Still many traffic during weekdays along the way.

If you have a chance to stroll along the valleys of Jakarta kampungs, you may see the locals conduct various fun games to commemorate independence day. On the night before 17th august, every neighborhood will conduct Tirakatan, or an event to praise and remenber the heroes of the nation. I hope you can see that moment as well .

Ketan bakar is glutinous rice boiled in coconut milk n a little salt, then steamed n formed into square pan n cut up into rectangles, roasted ( bakar) n sprinkled with sugar n sesame seeds..

Bogor Bandung Batu considered cooler than Jakarta also el nino is coming so maybe windy but yes,windy but not yet rain for a week Bogor is an escape region from hot hectic Jakarta since colonial era Well you may stroll Jakarta suburb on 17th August they're having fun with various mini championship like panjat pinang and another fun race

Come to Cianjur city neighbour of bogor, you can go to ancient Megalithicum Site, m Padang Mount, Cipanas puncak and other nice places

So glad you enjoyed Bogor one of favourite place. It wasn't bihun goreng you ate just regular mie goreng, must've been some mix up in the order. Bihun is rice vermicelli. The weird looking thing in the market are Jengkol, a kind of nut, very meaty often called daging palsu (fake/poor man's meat), you can try them in Padang restaurant (rumah makan padang) or any Warteg.
