I'm 75. been through late 50's,60's 70s and beyond rock. Started listening to classical in the 70s and it's my go to music to listen to. Very few piece pieces move me as much as this one did. It is absolutely beautiful. I closed my eyes and just listened to it 3 times. Stunning!!!!

Not moved at all. Imho, too little with too much. One single theme repeated almost with no variation, and just in crescendo. Wonder what would u do if you listen to Mahler or Shostakovitch. Just Tchaikovsky is light years away from this. Sorry. Dont mean to insult. Happy u like it. Just explore more

the piece is "Chevaliers de Sangreal" which Hans Zimmer created for the DaVinci Code movie (and re-used in some form in its two sequels). The lead violinist here is Rusandra Panfili. The solo cello is played by Tina Guo. This is from a Zimmer live concert in Prague.

And such young musicians looking as if they really enjoyed playing it. Yes, my tastes in music also includes the Classics. One in 1994 as I was rolling across Nevada on my way to The People's Republic of California to deliver I picked up a Public Radio station out of Idaho that was some outstanding classical music that had a very beat. Unfortunately I couldn't pick up the station heading back. Talking about having a good signal skip.
