Don't apologise family is more important then anything. Great haul as soon as I saw all the eggs and cheese first thing that came to mind was making quiches if you make them in muffin trays you can freeze them

What you did for yourselves is a vital part of being a couple. I am so happy you realized it was time to be together, unplug, and reconnect. Don't ever think you need to apologize for that to anyone. Agree! Always worry about your own family first!! The tables u occasionally see the fold up ones sold but it was probably for store use when they set tables up and clearance things.

I'm glad you both got a bit refreshed and ready to jump back in the dumpster. Be careful with the red Kong toys. If your dogs are heavy chewers. My dogs were able to chew through them quickly (and I didn't get them from a dumpster, I bought them) and they can choke on the smaller pieces of plastic. The black rubber is actually much stronger. Just thought I'd let you know what happened with me. A cautionary tale.

Loved the video and great haul. My husband and I set aside time for ourselves each month and we are both in our 50s. It sure helps our relationship and that actually helps us in other parts of our lives as well. Love you guys

Glad to see you guys are back! Lots of good stuff too! I heard that you can break the eggs into ice trays, freeze them then take them out of the ice trays and into plastic bags. Great to use when you bake things. That is after ( I know you will share first) then what's left for your family.

Another gardening tip: after cooking veggies, keep the water and water your plants with it. Can or fresh..both works. I'm still waiting for our weather not to get cold at night so I can uncover everything. Where most people blow leaves off their plants for winter, I blow them on😊 to insulate. Great haul for your family and friends. Thanks for sharing

I know exactly how y’all feel! My husband and I have not slept under the same roof for the last 4 1/2 years because we take care of his mother who lives next door so one of us is with her 24/7! You need your time!

I was in a similar situation as you a few years back. I know how tough it was. If your father in law was in the military, you may be able to get financial services from the VA to take care of your mother in law.

You can also scramble a few eggs 🥚 (I usually do 6), put them in little recycled containers and freeze them. Then they are ready for breakfast or baking
