I love your response to the domestic violence: "You're not a man." That's such an appropriate, succinct way to put it. Ren goes out of his way here to paint an ugly picture that unfortunately happens too often, and the casual way you disarm it is so well said. "You're not a man." I hope that more people listen to that response and help prevent this.

You are right, Stevie is not a man to do that to Violet, he's a little prick. This is another Ren masterpiece. Thank you for this.

Ren got the basic idea from a newspaper article about a 14 year old boy killing a prostitute. The article ended with the statement that it was "such a shame."

So you now know how he can tell a story while playing the guitar. He is a modern day Minstrel walking around telling the tales between cities giving them the news. Today we call Ren the bardcore. He can tell you a story and make it very entertaining. Of course that is just one of his many talents. 🤗 Thanks for checking Ren out, that was an experience.

In the 90-00’s I’d walk at night. Now, I don’t go out at night unless I absolutely have to and when I do, I have some form of protection and am on high alert. Great reaction ❤.

Ren finally got diagnosed about 8 yrs ago at the end of 2015. Even after getting the correct diagnosis, he suffered from the 5 or so years going undiagnosed. He got his 1st stem cell transplant in 2016 that gave him the ability to live and play music again but he still suffered from the after affects . Its been 13 years from the beginning of his illness until now. He's still not 100pct but is trying to get there.

If you rewind a little, after pausing, you won't miss anything. :) Definitely don't press play and keep talking. Finish talking THEN press play. You'll miss so much otherwise. Never mind the beautifully poetic lyrics and dramatic transitions, if you miss the wrong line, you can lose track of the whole story! None of this is criticism. I just don't want you to miss anything, especially when it's another masterpiece, from the masterful artist that is Ren! :)

Most of us are still learning our darkness. Never heard it put like that but i definitely see the wisdom in it. Keep you chin up. I live in the country moved from Chicago where the crime is horrible to the countryside where im more worried about coyotes at night than anything else. Best move I've ever made was getting out of Chicago.

These tales are called Bardcore. This is why Renagades call Ren the Bard. Just like William Shakespeare of the old days.! A tragic tale of generational violence that's common in everyday society. Sung and in spoken word, it's like listening to a condescend audio book musical.!! There's only one Ren. At that's the original sick boi bad boi himself.!! Keep diving in Ren well know about it and appreciate it.👍❤️🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧👍😁

Do you walk at night. Imagine living in a country where you don’t feel safe to walk at night. Even as a child, I walked the streets of Glasgow in Scotland, morning noon and night, and always felt safe. If you’re living in a country and you don’t feel safe, you’re not living in the land of the free..🤭🤷🏻‍♂️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

You mention the domino effect--ralated to the geneational learnings and abuse. Ren has a wonderful song called 'Dominoes' which you need to react to. It is harsh and cuts hard at society and how we view ourselves and self worth.

When I was a kid in the 70's we would be outside the house all night long. We did not fear walking alone or with friends; nothing happened, ever. Nowadays, there are too many homeless and others out and about at night. I do not think it is so very much more risky, but there is a fear that you develop as such. Irrational perhaps.

Hmmm... I'm not sure you got the twist. I always recommend turning off captions on this It did say baby but the doctor saw something here so very wrong, meaning he saw 2 babies. Violet didn't know she had twins. Captions is a distraction. It's like watching a Broadway show with someone holding up caption cards. LOL It takes away from the performance when you're eyes drop down to read. Good reaction though.
@denniskelley8974

ABSOLUTELY!! Having captions turned on for most ANY song/movie is wrong.... but when we're talking about something as deep and multi-layered as Ren's stuff (like this one and "Hi Ren" for instance), it's almost criminal. PLEASE don't do it. If you miss a word here or there on the first viewing, you can always go find the lyrics when you're done. Then go back and watch it again. Regardless, I know most of these captions are done with AI, so no single human is to blame, but most of them are absolutely horrible. Like in "Hi Ren", in the part where it reaches a crescendo where he says "I am you, you are me, I am you Ren!"... the captions say "I am you, you are me, I am your friend!" ???!!! I literally want to reach through the screen and punch the non-existent transcriber when I see that. 😄

UK gives health care to everyone but their doctors are so overwhelmed that getting a proper diagnosis is like casino gambling.
@sputukgmail
@sputukgmail 3 ай бұрын
A casino where most people leave as winners but yes, just like anywhere in the world, doctors can miss things and when they are under resourced as the NHS surely is after decades of deliberate underfunding and bad management under the equivalent of the Republicans because they want it to fail, it is not doing as well as it should be. But it’s still remarkably effective, and so much cheaper than the equivalent private systems around the world.
@nancyj795
@nancyj795 3 ай бұрын
@@sputukgmail If they had all the money in the world, they'd still be average, at best, because the standard of care is an economic model, and always will be. AI could do better because it can be interrogated all day long.
@sputukgmail
@sputukgmail 3 ай бұрын
@@nancyj795 the average care anywhere is by definition, average. I don’t get your point. We have excellent medical training, we have excellent efficacy and are amongst the top performing countries in most metrics for the effectiveness of healthcare (there are a few areas we are below par, but then most countries have some gaps they do worse in). The NHs has been made deliberately inefficient with more of the money going into the pockets of private companies now that used to be - but we used to lead the world up until the 2000s, so there is clearly nothing wrong with the model.
@nancyj795
@nancyj795 3 ай бұрын
@@sputukgmail Your reply makes my point. If I gave you $10 million today, you'd be no more capable or discerning than you were before I gave you the money.
@sputukgmail
@sputukgmail 3 ай бұрын
@@nancyj795 so your point is you don’t become expert by being given money? No - but you can train more people to be expert and hence allow them more time to consider individuals. You can pay for more facilities to run more tests more quickly, you can provide facilities to allow people to be treated without needed to compete for beds without ambulances queueing up for hours. Of course money can address the issues which are currently challenges for the NHS - but the actual issue at the moment is that more of the money it going as profit to private companies instead of contributing to the quality and capacity of the service. Here’s a relevant analogy - if I gave 10 million to an expert architect and asked them to build new quality houses with it when they had only had a thousand to build houses with before and so had had to scratch by refurbing run down squats instead of getting new places built, they could start producing excellent accommodation for a change. The capability and expertise is already there in the NHS, but things like Brexit have caused huge gaps in resourcing the services. The answer is not just more money if that money were still being wasted as profit for companies. It needs the inefficiencies of artificial internal markets and the legacy of PFI to be addressed, it needs the waste caused by the need to report KPIs instead of actually delivering the service striped away. But those changes need money first because it cost a lot of money to deliberately cause those issues and we have to undo all that first.

No she did great i think...she grasped the whole story .....watched and enjoyed the performance....not all people get dragged in emotionally to the trilogy simple cause they don't have the mentality to have something like that in there life they don't relate to it .cause they wouldn't allow it in there life and find it more baffling why others do as she spoke of the domino effect im.pretty sure if a man wver put his hands on her that man better be ready to fight to the death cause it will be the last time.then and there ...
