THE STOCK options cost Tesla's 2.5 billion in 2018. The loss has already been realized by the Tesla company and they are just sitting there ready to give Elon.

I'm not down a lot, but still 3 years without any gains when the market is at an ATH sucks. I can't vote, but I would vote yes. Just wish people like Gali but also Tesla with their videos would consider the perspectives of people who didn't 10x their money. I really question why we, as shareholders, don't get to vote on whether or not the lawsuit gets to proceed in the first place. Why does one shareholder with 9 shares get to unilaterally decide to sue on behalf of all shareholders? Why don't the rest of us have a say in the matter? And then the judge gets to decide how much the lawyers (that we never asked for) get paid, and we don't get to vote on whether or not to approve that dilution?

I think this happens to each individual working in big tech that gets paid a total compensation that grants RSU over time for the results already delivered... Imagine being told... You did amazing. Top 1%. 6 out of 5 stars... Here is some stock (RSU) you get some in 6 or 9 months and then some every 6 months over 3-5 years... Then you get laid off... Seems like now is a great time to talk about that practice as well...

@@toby-xo6rb Voting yes for the person who has tanked the shares (because of his actions the company essentially lost half it's value since him buying Twitter) to give himself more than the many years worth of profit of the company is crazy. Telsa is beyond over-inflated for it's value and has done nothing to justify it's price. It's literally surviving off government grants right now, even the semis that were purchased were only bought due to grants that paid more than they were worth. Elon built up the company value with hype and no show, made promise after promise for 'giga factories' that never came to be (receiving tax breaks and grants), and now the world is starting to see what he's really about. His escapade with Twitter has cost the company billions on billions, his dumping stock multiple times after saying he wouldn't (first money in... which is false, but anyway first money in, last money out - he said this TWICE and both times sold stock shortly after) is almost a pump and dump, and his offsetting of his little side projects by making Tesla bail him out and buy his other failing companies hurts everyone. He's forced Tesla to buy his failed solar company, which he then had to testify in Congress about his lying and faking the presentation that was the big seller for the solar. Heck, even his little "I don't own a house" house that he made Tesla build for him... Not to mention his other demands. He sold tons of stock to buy Twitter after he basically destroyed the companies value, and now is also demanding Tesla give him BACK the stock he sold which will dilute the stocks further and bring them all down in value, or he states Tesla can just give him a commanding vote so he can over-rule the other holders... he's extorting the company. Voting yes is literally just burning the stocks and pretending like he hasn't been paid is a joke. He's made tens of billions of dollars in actual cash by selling his stock unannounced like he did, he has very much been paid for his work beyond what any other CEO has. And again, he's threatening the company and going directly against his fiduciary responsibilities by saying he is going to start another, private, company for AI... likely stealing the division from Tesla. So voting Yes is quite simply flushing your own stock down the toilet. "Have some integrity" like he HASN'T been given tons of stocks and pay. And pretending that the votes were overwhelming for that deal that was made by the well known cronies of Musk, or his relatives, is a joke. Stock holders were upset that deal ever came about back in the day, they were just outvoted by his family members who controlled huge shares.
