I wish Nissan made illuminated kick plates standard on the Maxima. They're only optional. My cousins 2016 Altima has them and they look awesome!

I like the maximas, I had a 2017 love the fog lights housing, but I hate fog light housing on new 2020 and up fog light housing

G Osborne I love the maxima. I would definitely lease one but not buy. Cuz their transmission is kinda scary. I had a 2000 maxima and I loved it but that’s when Nissan was using the 5 speed transmission (real automatic) if the maxima changes in the feature I might think about it. Sorry for the late reply btw

@@Iegend17 I have a '16 MAX I bought new; has 80,000 miles, not one hiccup. The key is to have the dealer change the CVT fluid at 60,000 miles because the friction modifiers in the fluid get depleted (BTW-I'm a mechanical engineer). Nice video, you covered every freakin' bulb!

Joe Taylor I been waiting for it for a long time now. I asked couple Nissan dealers and they said in March. I’m going to do day review. Night drive. Day drive and night video of the lights :)

You forgot the lights under the dashboard. It goes from the driver door to the dashboard all the way to the passenger door. It’s white.

The reviewer missed on a ambient light that runs alongside the "wood trim" on the doors and dash board which you can control on or off in the settings. I leave on cause it looks amazing in the dark. Mine is a 2020 Maxima platinum and not sure if the light I'm talking about is standard on all trims..

So the SL has the ambient lights you talking about. The SR which is this one doesn’t.

@@Iegend17 the SR does have the ambient lighting I have an SR, unfortunately I live in the city they don’t make a big impact wish they were brighter.

You meant to say it was REDESIGNED IN 2016 and REFRESHED in 2019, nex gen comes in 2022 nad thats a 7 year period between redesigns..............

Most Loyal no it doesn’t. It’s a 42 or 43k car it should have. And I always say this. The maxima isn’t really worth 42k or higher. Maxima should start around 27-28k and go to mid to high $30ks. It just doesn’t have the features and looks to make it a 45k tbh.

Most Loyal standard on all models, it’s the light that runs all around the cabin in the front
