The fact that he is probably born being deaf and blind. Not even knowing what he is missing. But here we are taking this stuff for granted at times. I have huge respect for these people. I hope they get whatever they want in life.

Although if he was born both blind and deaf he wouldn't be able to communicate with people: how was he supposed to learn braille or sign language? I hear the story of a girl who was born both blind and deaf. She was placed in a psychiatric hospital, she could not communicate nor eat properly for instance. We really are lucky, we should be more grateful for what God granted us 🤲

Everyone is talking about the disabled student (as they should he is a LEGEND) but nobody's talking about how nice the teacher is. She was patient and didn't seem to mind as much as she treated like how a teacher usually would check an exam, despite this being completely different than simply checking papers a student wrote. @thefluffyaj41192 жыл бұрын
nah, just because he is deaf blind doesn't inherently make him a genius. just like people being sighted and hearing don't inherently make them geniuses. he might have to navigate the world differently and come up with different strategies, and while that is certainly hard to do sometimes, it doesn't automatically make him better at other things. it's doesn't mean he's not smart, and it doesn't mean that he's smart, it's just the way he is and that's all. he's a normal person, just like everyone else. also, if he did have sharp senses, being deaf blind wouldn't stop him from being a geniuse sorry if this came off as harsh, I didn't mean for it to be. I myself am disabled and I wish to correct the notion that disabled people are brave for literally just existing and living just like anyone else. it's not like we have a choice. and I don't praise abled people for existing, and I don't see a reason to think that disabled people differ from abled people in this way. I just want people to treat me normally, like everyone else, unless my disability impacts a specific area of my life that would require me to need a bit of help so that I can function like everyone else

Ikr! Sometimes I also watch videos of people who look deformed or have rare syndromes and it helps me get over my physical insecurities. And it’s not from a place of pride, it’s that when I hear them talk I literally forget what they look like and their personalities just open up to me. That makes me realize the inside is what matters and if it shines bright enough it outshines the outer self. That motivates me to work on my character rather than obsess over physical flaws.
