**This video was good but here is some info and some correction:** Gfriend was originally supposed to debut as 7 members (excluding Eunha) but 2 of their members who were supposed to be the "visuals" left the group soon before debut (one of the girls who left was DIA's ex-member Jenny. This is also why Gfriend's comeback got delayed by a year and why they don't have an official visual) and also Eunha didn't train at Bighit, she actually trained at Leon entertainment for 1 year and there are pictures of her there and other information. Also Leon is also the only company Eunha trained at before coming to Source Music. People mistook her as a Bighit trainee because she and SinB went to a dance academy together when they were in elementary school and SinB and Eunha confirmed that once Eunha came to Source Music it had already been over 10 years since they last saw each other so it's not possible for Eunha to be a bighit trainee at all because if she was, SinB and Eunha would've met at Bighit and they would've been sent to Source Music together. (Years years after they left the dance academy Eunha became a Leon trainee and SinB became a Bighit trainee) SinB appeared in Jo Kwon's I'm da one MV and was in a speech Jo Kwon gave to Bighit trainees. Apparently, it's also SinB who says "Yoongi-ya" in BTS' "Just one day". Lastly, originally SinB was supposed to be the lead vocalist (which is why in their debut songs SinB had more lines and a high note in their bside and why Eunha had such less lines despite being the lead vocalist --->because they had to quickly redo the line distribution for all of their songs and albums, re-film the MV, etc because their original 2 members left) Hope this clears up any misunderstanding. BONUS: BTS and Gfriend's CEO are bestfriends and they actually managed Bighit's ex girl group GLAM together. Unfortunately GLAM got into a scandal so Bighit decided to solely focus on BTS and they sent SinB to Source Music where he recruited more girls to debut Gfriend. As much as I love the whole group. Umji has to be my bias. I instantly loved her personality and never understood all the terrible hate she received. She really is so amazing.

Did you know gfriend is a trend-starter. Yes trend-starter. They have created twice as fast (2x) dancing in a line , no hands challenge,tray dancing. They are known for the insane synchronization along with seventeen nct and loona. They created 2x and certainly are the boss at it. PS......I have been a buddy since 2015 and I still can't get over the fact that eunha and Sowon are such different heights it's so cute! (Sowon is leader main rapper , and lead dancer along with vocalist and she is a model since 2019)

I was originally drawn to GFriend by Umji's hidden charm AND the unfair treatment she received from some kpop followers after debut. Although still my bias, I can honestly say that along with Sowon, Eunha, Yuju, SinB and Yerin, GFriend's individual talents and personalities make it almost impossible to really have a bias. They are collectively my stress relief and I get great pleasure in listening and watching there superb dance synchronization. Bless them all and continued success to theml.

Random Facts: 1. Eunha was not supposed to be in GFriend. GFriend originally had 7 members: Sowon, Yerin, Yuju, SinB, Umji, Lee So Yul, and another trainee "Kim". They were preparing for debut in 2013/2014 when the two trainees Lee So Yul and "Kim" left (Lee So Yul joined MBK and debuted in DIA as Jenny), Eunha back then quit being a trainee and focused on her studies when BigHit offered her to join Source Music as the 6th (and final) Member. They re-recorded their songs and re-choreographed their dance to fit 6 people and debuted in 2015 with Glass Bead. 2. Eunha was in the same dance team as SinB, they knew each other ever since they were kids. 3. SinB *was* jealous of Umji back in their trainee days (don't worry that was when they were still kids, obviously UmB loves each other and SinB protects Umji) 4. Sowon was supposed to debut with Kard (I believe she may have been the 4th members since Somin debuted in Puretty and Kard was supposed to debut earlier idk just thoughts)

1 things for sure.. Gfriend made the big agencies focus more on their girl groups when gfriend debut. The agencies even forget or set aside their main boygroups just to fight gfriend toe to toe. Jyp focus on twice and set aside got7 tht time, sm also focus on RV shile exo being se aside also. This is the power they emit in their early days, and the power they posses leaves it tracks by forms of acknowledgement and awards on shows they aint on big 3 agencies but they have tons of trophy and awards.

So how was Gfriend formed? They were supposed to be 7 members: Sowon, Sinb,Yerin,Yuju, Umji (arranged in order when they got in Source) plus two members (Jenny left then joined DIA and another trainee). When the two left, their debut was delayed (supposed to be end of 2014). Then someone contacted Eunha (alot says BigHit contacted her but cant tell who lol) who had stopped training resumed as a student...Eunha trained for almost two months to fill in the gap. She was the last member to join. And then they made their debut Jan2015. Eunha was firstly a child actress. Back then I also thought Eunha trained in Bighit but it was recently corrected bec she never mentioned being in BH, she trained for 3years in total but only Loen is confirmed. She's also the least who trained in SouMu for almost 2mos, since she was called in as a replacement only. Also she was childhood friends with Sinb for more than 10 years, they were in the same dance team at a young age. Yuju briefly trained in Cube. Also trained in Loen where she casually met Sinb. Sinb the only one who trained in Bighit, then Loen, before going to SouMu. Umji trained in Source for 1year. Sowon could have been in April I think?. She trained the longest among the gf members. 2018 was the first year when I heard about Gfriend though I was sad that despite their debut from 2015 I was on a hiatus of KPOP music but now I came back to the KPOP world because of them and few others. #BuddyForever

I really understood what he meant when he said that GFRIEND helped him with his anxiety because I feel like GFRIEND's music has helped me feel a lot better during this awful quarantine that we are in right now. I love GFRIEND because they are unique in that most of their songs have string and piano in them so they are like the closest thing to classical music in K-Pop (and they even sampled schumann in Summer Rain). They aren't the only group that has songs with strings and piano in them (the other ones being Lovelyz, April and Laboum) but I think they do those kinds of songs the best.

Sowon's height mentioned in some media is 172.8 cm but if you investigate more about her, you will know that her actual height is about 178.2 cm. similar number that make a slight difference.

I've been waiting for this.. I love GFriend, all of them, and all about them.. Their visuals, vocals, choreography, and humility but also quirky behavior.. Maybe you can make a video of GFriend at "What Happened to GFriend, ..."

The reason i only stan Gfriend for ggs is bc they're unlike the other. Yes other groups have amazing vocals, yes other groups have amazing dances, but no one does it like Gfriend. They have very strong and stable vocals Powerful, difficult, meaningful, and synchronized dances/choreographies; A very strong story line They never follow trends and make their own Meaningful lyrics Amazing members Literal beagels Their concept photos are literal 'concept' photos and it has so much diversity in them. They had me shook when it was announced that they even participated in the album. And you know what, they promoting this mature concept of theirs with detailed and meaningful choreos instead of hip and bum shakes, with elegant slit long dresses instead of revealing clothes. Their comebacks should get 100x times more hype and 100x more wins 🔥

Gfriend has beautiful btracks. Their songs are not just ordinary songs, those are really hit and worth your money. I guarantee.

I totally resonate with you how gfriend songs bring my heart to peace. Thats why I ult gfriend along with mamamoo. I feel like Mamamoo is my sun sign group and Gfriend is my moon sign group. They didnt click with me til I was at a pretty vulnerable point and I heard their music, met their personalities, and loved them with a fresh perspective. Huhu. My bias is Eunha! I love your videos but the part about Eunha is wrong. Eunha didn't train at Bighit ent, she trained at Leon entertainment and there's a lot of information on that on the internet. SinB is the only ex Bighit trainee in gfriend. Eunha and SinB went to a dance academy together when they were 7 and 8 years old and when they saw each other again at Source Music they said they were shocked because it had been 10 years since they last saw each other. SinB however trained at Bighit and even appeared in Bighit artists MV

Seriously though from her vocals to stage presence to how emotionally guileless she is Yerin is just one of those Idols that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Also, I'm surprised you didn't mention SinB having been cast as The Grasshopper Princess as a child.
