Personally, I don’t watch your videos for the gameplay, I watch for your guys sense of humour and conversations, so stopping something like swearing would be a huge negative for me.

I have never supported anyone on Patreon, but I would definitely throw in a fiver for you. You have provided me with free content for years, and it is the least I can do. I believe a lot of fans feel the same way.

personally, I wouldn't put any money towards it because frankly I'm accustomed to youtube being free, and while I like youtube and most of the content on hatfilms, it's not really at a point where I think it's worth real cash. I spend roughly £10 on netflix and spotify, because I get a significant quality and quantity of new, often excellently produced content out of it. As much as I like youtube and streams.... It's just not at that level tbh I sometimes subscribe to the twitch channel because I have Twitch Prime and sometimes wanna catch the VODs That said, I don't see how anyone could have an issue with you boys setting up a patreon for people who are a bit more generous/ have a bit more spare cash. Literally see no reason why you shouldn't be paid for your time and effort.

Do a patreon and have a $1 a month tier. You don't have to have $20 or $50 tiers where you offer rewards, which always seems to be your argument against it, because you don't want to get locking into having to meet those rewards each month.

I wouldn't say its teens that complain teens are the biggest viewers of KZfaq but the only reason I would complain against it is if the tier system got super expensive or the sponsors got special privileges or early access etc which yeah i understand they paid money but not everyone has money to spare or they simply don't have money at all but im sure if anyone had spare cash or any cash at all they would donate something the subscription can be cancelled its not like a permanent thing and idc if the money is for personal use or for projects so i support it just don't make it a ridiculous price or shove it in our faces in videos (do it once or twice but not in every single video) that gets annoying and yeah that's about it

So what if it means you might actually go and not only make a living, but actually end up in a very good monetary situation? What, we can't enrich people who make great content now? The climate of KZfaq has changed more towards outside supports for funds for creators. Since KZfaq is censoring so much, the only way good content will survive is outside funds. Merch is good , but I think that people have to understand that creators need money to keep creating. Do what you need to do to survive. If I had money I would support everyone I can. But I have to be honest I wasn't always like that, only with my understanding of the world has my perspective changed. Great content hat films. Thank you for continuing creating it.

Patreon is honestly a great idea. A single dollar given on patreon is more than something like a few hundred views without adblock. The only thing you have to be careful of is a feeling of exclusiveness. It should be treated as a tip jar, not as a ticket stand or paywall. Don't have pay tiers over $20 at the most, and even then it shouldn't reward anything more than different-colored names on a discord or something, and thanks.

The parts I enjoy most are the personalities of each of you mixed with the dynamic of the episodes, seeing new games I may or may not be interested in, and the quality of the content. I like that you guys swear in your videos; it feels more authentic to me. I remember a video years ago, where you censored them as a joke, those were the good times. Also, I would be fine with you having a Patreon if that would mean more quality content. I've been here since the Minecraft 1.7 trailer, while I sometimes miss that era, your quality content (vlogs, live-action stuff) is what has always been my favourite part. Please please please do not stop swearing in vids, I feel like it would take away from your content and the topics you talk about and is one of the main things you use for comic effect (nothing bad about that). I would honestly pay a subscription to watch you guys from £1 a month or something like that and I feel you have a loyal enough audience that many others would also commit to this if you offered it to us as an optional thing. I understand you have twitch and subscribers on the platform but as I am usually busy and only have time to watch your videos rather than watch a full stream I would rather pay a cheaper monthly cost just for your KZfaq than the £5 or however much it is on twitch (which I imagine you do not get all of anyway).

hat films are my favourite channel on KZfaq and if they want to open a patreon that's fine with me at the end of the day its optional to support them they're not forcing money out of our hands and to anyone who does support them if they get extra content thats also fine at the end of the day they pay towards the creation of that content why shouldn't they get a little extra

Whether it's KZfaq, Patreon or any other form of media, just keep doing what your doing and pumping out that quality content we all know your capable of. I personally prefer the short series and bigger projects over long drawn out series. It keeps people interested with more varied content

Patreon isn’t stealing money. I don’t get why people are complaining (I doubt many actually are). This is your job, we love you, so it’s only natural we pay you (in some way); what’s amazing is that we choose if we donate or not. Edit: Patreon for Craigle if nothing else.

Patreon sounds fine with me, I definitely get more entertainment value out of you knob heads than Netflix and I pay a tenner a month for that. If it meant you could keep doing what you do but more often and with more of a safety blanket for riskier, larger projects, sounds good.

I think you should totaly do patreon. Then let the people who want to "donate"/subscribe to it do it. The rest of the people who don't have the money or the interest aren't forced to pay anything. Nothing to lose all to gain really, as long as it doesn't get forced down everyones throat. Even if its just to give you money on a monthly basis without a real project in sight

There is nothing wrong with having a Patreon. People will pay or they won't, but to not have one available because of a vocal minority who probably aren't going to pay you whatever the revenue stream, seems very ill-advised.

So glad you guys are actually conscious of this stuff and haven't just blindly followed trends. You've stayed true to yourselves and that makes for great quality content. Personally, I am subbed to your Twitch channel, even though I can't catch your streams live, because I block the adds on yt and feel a bit guilty taking this for free. Also because I've got like 35+months now and I don't really want to lose that streak lmao I'm stuck in this for life. And dem emotes 👌👌👌 In that regard, I'm all for a Patreon.

The reason why they don't have 1mill is because they have too many inside jokes, so when someone new sees the channel they just see three guys screaming and being weird. Funny if you get it though.

What you guys do really well is entertaining commentary. For example, I rarely watch your GTA playlist videos, but I'll listen to them while I'm doing something else. I feel Hatfilms would do really well in the realm of podcasts because of your ability to create engaging discussions that have good humour. People could listen to your content more often through podcasts because it doesn't take as much time as sitting down to watch a video.
