Prepare the sack and soil: Choose a sack with enough room for the lemongrass plant to grow. The soil needs to go through the process of being loose and airy, providing enough nutrients for the plants. You can use a combination of clean soil, vermicompost, coco peat and smoked rice husks.
Choose seedlings: Use lemongrass plants that have grown roots when grown in water, seeds purchased at stores, or you can separate a small branch of lemongrass from a mature lemongrass clump.
Planting seedlings: First, add soil mixture into the sack, then plant about 3 seedlings, place them about 5cm - 6cm deep, slightly tilted to one side, then compact the soil around the base.
Plant care: Throughout the plant's growth process, water twice a day with a light spray. Place the sack in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.
Note: Change the water once a day, if growing lemongrass in water. About 2 days later, you will see roots appear and about 7 days the lemongrass leaves will begin to grow.
