I think you are the most genuine youtuber ,and the first youtuber that is acting like a good big brother . Constantly trying to support and better his audience . Sure ,you have videos that focus more on the funner side of a daily job . But you also have these short lectures that help everyone that wathces your channel .Going that far to even sharing you own experiences ,to help your audience see a bigger picture of KZfaq . Really comes down to how often videos are being made and how much of a backlog you have, there's a channel called solving the money problem, similar sub count and probably less views per vid just talking about tesla, but he makes a video every day that's 20+ minutes long. He did one talking about how much money he makes and its mind blowing.

I love how open you are with your analytics. A lot of YT'ers hide the money they make but it's really insightful when you get a full breakdown of financial analytics because realistically if you're considering taking KZfaq seriously, it's the sort of stuff you have to worry about. Thanks for being like one of the first youtubers to be honest and detailed about the money aspect of youtube. Plenty of youtubers have done the same thing while shying away from the reality of making youtube a career. I think something I've been struggling with has been motivation after uploading. I'd have a fire inside me to edit, then when I finally drop a video its like I need to go on vacation to recover the energy.

I appreciate this video a ton! I'm literally a handful of subs and watch time away from signing up for the partner program so money is def on my mind right now. But like you said, I won't let it get to me because I'm here for the fun of it. I love making videos plain and simple. A really timely video (at least for me). While £900 monthly ad revenue is currently beyond my wildest dreams, the reality is that that amount of money hardly comes close to paying my monthly rent. Really good to hear about the other revnue streams that can be taken advantage of. Until I progress to that stage, I will keep my boring lawyer day job and will work nights on my videos.

The reality is most of the stories you hear about people quitting to do YT full time are the rare minority.. those kind of stories circulate because they catch people's attention and exploit their fantasy of sticking it to the man. They usually end up selling a course about how to make it on KZfaq and the vicious cycle continues
