Saw George W's motorcade on I-25 in NM, between Santa Fe & Albuquerque, it was to this day, the single most impressive display of high speed unity I've ever witnessed! This video said a top speed of 60-mph? Well, George W's was doing right around 100-mph & all vehicles were no more than 5ft apart! Seriously, it was like watching NASCAR at Daytona!! 💪🇺🇲👉#1

I saw the same thing in 2005. George W. was traveling on 528 highway in Orlando all of the sudden traffic stopped. This happened in front of the Orlando International Airport usually presidents use the smaller executive airport in Orlando but the most impressive thing was that 100 police cars where in front if the motorcade and another 100 police cars followed begin. Probably the entire personnel of Orange Co. Sheriff and OPD. All of them going around 80 MPH...I was an unbelievable display of power and security..no other leader in the world can match the US President might....

I also saw W's motorcade one time going east bound on I-70 on the way to Lambert in St. Louis. Our son saw AF-1 one day up close during O' Bama's term on the the way to Lambert when he was one of the managers at a hotel outside of the airport. He went on the roof of the hotel to watch AF-1.

I was stationed at NAWS Point Mugu, CA when Reagan was president. When the motorcade came through to and from the flight line, there was at lest a 45 minute wait. I got caught in that fluster cluck once.

George W's motorcade came through Havertown PA, on Eagle Road, one day. It moved pretty fast through our neighborhood. I do remember seeing the Suburban with armed men in fatigues with Assault weapons at the windows and the rear window was propped open and manned with a gunner.

Here is something i found out, do you know how many Marines are in the Marine one helicopter division? Almost 500. That includes about a dozen helicopters, 4 or 5 C130 transporters, and a fuel tanker. Hangers, briefing rooms, maintenance and office staff ,plus 24-7 security for all the above areas and equipment,

It’s a GMC platform with a Cadillac skin. It’s powered by a 5.0-litre diesel engine because of its weight and size. Also, diesel is less flammable in a firefight.

You did mention about the entire presidential motorcade + Marine One traveling with the president anywhere he goes. Thanks so much for the information. But how about if POTUS needs to travel from say South Korea, then to Japan, then to the US? I know when POTUS departs one country, he gets off the Beast to hop on to the Airforce One jumbojet. And then when he arrives at the next destination, another set of Beasts + Helicopters are waiting. I can guess that multiple sets of motorcade vehicles can be used given the time and logistics needed to transfer them. What about when the president makes multiple international stops on a single visit? Are there like 4-5 or even more sets of motorcade vehicles that the Secret Service provides for presidential travel?

There is probably a dozen limos just for the purpose of when he’s traveling. As for Marine One the squadron that manages them has a fleet of 20 helicopters.

When Pres G.W.B. would go travel to Naval Medical/Walter Reed, I would get caught in POTUS traffic. Same thing with Pres. Obama in DC. It is VERY long! It is cool to see Marine One fly to Camp David.

The motorcade protects against more types of threats now, especially since 9/11. Each vehicle and the people inside it have a purpose. Are they necessary, though? As necessary as an umbrella. You only use it when it rains. We haven’t seen most of the motorcade’s uses, but they’re prepared for many possibilities

That is true, plus at the same speed the driver is trained to hit the brakes, causing the rear of the vehicle to raise up and flip around in the opposite direction in the event of an attack, so the driver can escape with the president! Very impressive car and driver!!!

Try taking a day trip on an Amtrak train. In our area one can board the train, go to a winery for lunch and tour the town, then come back in the evening. Also there is free parking at the Amtrak station.

The president does not have his own limousine. The Secret Service has a fleet of 16 identical ones. If he is on a multi-national trip, at least two of them have to go. The presidential one simply has two magnetic emblems and two flags placed on it.

I just wondered when you say the president is in the Beast and there are two of them ,,,,so why is there one with police lights on and the other none when you show the Beast with the president in it does not have lights on it.????????????

I did learn one new term from watching this video, even though the video itself did not explain the term used the term it used was potus, I looked it up on Google and found that POTUS stood for President of the United States which I'm sure everybody that saw this video already knew that! And If you did you probably work for the president in some direct way!

All that armor in the beast wouldn’t do you any good if a HEAT round from a tank hit you. Even a normal round would devastating and let’s not get started on what a missile could do.
