Brilliant thank you! I'm tearing my hair out with WP hanging on to old "deleted" pages, whilst not showing new ones. I'm also impressed with the fact that the plugin isn't try to get me onto a plan before I've tried to used it.

Thank you for the tutorial. I use Quickbooks plugin on a website, so one of the recommendations is to convert: kcf5fhok_mw_wc_qbo_sync_sessions into InnoDB. Would you happen to know anything about that?

Hello, I have WP Rocket scheduled to optimize the database. Do you think that running WP Optimize is still advisable, or no need if you're using WP Rocket? Thank you!

If WP Rocket does the same thing, then you can deactivate WP Optimize.

Would deleting the number of excess tables you show in your example have a significant effect on site speed? I haven't checked mine yet, but I suspect I have A LOT more garbage in my large site than your small site example. Just wondering if this might move the needle as far as improving site speed. I need all the help I can get!

In most instances, orphaned tables don’t degrade a site’s performance and isn’t something to be too concerned about. The main reason you should delete them is not to clutter your database in a way that taking backups etc is stalled. It’s like back home: we have a bunch of stuff we don’t need in our garage which just takes a lot of space. If you clean your garage then you may even have a space to park your car over there :)
