✎ He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, raised by his mother, a single parent, and did not have a relationship with his father during his childhood or adolescence. At the age of 16, he dropped out of high school and lived homeless on the streets of Detroit. He was homeless for two years. While he was homeless, he met a preacher who inspired him to go back to school and eventually change lives. He worked as an academic adviser to disadvantaged students at MSU. He also served as senior pastor at A Place of Change Ministries in Lansing, Michigan. Thomas obtained a master's degree from MSU in 2005, and a Ph.D. in Education Administration in 2015. After becoming known as a motivational speaker, he founded a company to offer education consulting, coaching and athletic development. He as given motivational talks to collegiate and professional athletes. Lebron James has credited Thomas as part of his inspiration for winning the 2012 NBA Championship.

From my experience, I put myself and all false idols and gods before me!! I.e money!! I felt alone, I felt helpless, I felt like I was walking the desert and being tormented by evil! when I put God first before all I found purpose, I found my way! God will provide and will continue to give what we need! God gives us direction as long as you believe! Some of us have been on autopilot through out our lives! were taught to go to school, get married, have kids, and live life by watching other success so we imitate. what defines your success? what defines your happiness? Whats you’d definition of living the good life? God gave us free will to do as we please, but it’s up to us to choose the right path! I had a patient that said to me that she used to complain about her feet everyday, until she met a man with none. Believe in God, be grateful, always be giving and you’ll receive more than you ever ask for!!!!

I know it's a bonus but "Work while you wait" was my favorite clip cause if you're not working then you're not preparing for whenever the opportunity comes. Can't waste a single minute of your life just waiting. If I had to pick from the top 10, it'd have to be "small steps."

I love the Great messages and the work you do gathering the variety of sources. Every time I hear your one word my mind instantly goes to the Anime series Naruto. Naruto uzumaki is constantly fighting for his beliefs from being the outcast, all the way to the leader of his village. His motto is “believe it.”
