Laplanders plant flowers. +5° Laplanders sunbathe if it happens to rise above the horizon. +2° Italian cars do not start. 0° Distilled water freezes. -1° Breathing becomes visible. Time to plan a holiday in the Mediterranean. Laplanders eat garbage and drink cold beer. -4° The cat wants to be in the same bed. -10° Time to plan a vacation in Africa. Laplanders go swimming. -12° So cold that it doesn't even snow. -15° French cars do not start. -18° Helsinki homeowners turn on the heat. -20° Breathing became audible. -22° American cars won't start. No need to skate. -23° Politicians begin to mourn the fate of the homeless. -24° Japanese cars won't start. -26° Breathing can be cut into building materials for an igloo. -29° The cat wants the same pajamas. -30° German cars do not start. Is really - 13 degree cold in your mind 😳..During my military service in Finland /Lapland we had to sleep in 8 men tents for 2 weeks and it was - 43 degrees as. lowest.... There are only cold weather if you have bad clothing. 👍

lol -13 and -19 degrees 🤣 when I was teenager -25 was normal winter temperature.... when I went to the army in January 1998 it was -40 and on many days the temperature was even lower😝

That's crazy, -40 degrees?! 😱🥶 The maximum it reached when we were there was -29 and it felt incredibly cold, so can't imagine -40. How did you even survive that? ahaha

@@carmaadventures wind makes cold weather much worse. -40 doesn't feel so bad when you're dressed warmly and there's no wind, although a few artillerymen had to have some of their toes amputated after their toes froze in a camp that winter.

@@carmaadventures then it wasn't windy when I was in the army, my army career lasted only four days before I switched to civilian service.

Exactly 😅... I spent my first winter in Rovaniemi and the last Winter in Ivalo during my service.... - 43 as lowest during a 2 weeks exercise in the forest and sleeping in 8 men tents dug down into the snow.. That snow give you insulation... First problem solved.... Just continue to solve the problems that will come ahead 💪
