Book is his "real" nickname. In Thailand, we all have sort of "official" nickname that our parents gave us when we were born, not a nickname in the western sense.

Thanks for sharing, I love Yoshimitsu. Learned a shit ton of tricks with him. My favourite is NSS suicide vanish to cd1, if you do it perfectly the launcher comes out really fast and is really hard to see coming. Never seen another player do it. Just figured his meditation spin to back turned cd1 timing could be applied to something else and it worked.

ff1+2 also does the same as the MED stance backspin, you can also do that CD1 backwards thing. I like to do CD1 backwards KIN and start moving forward (which in turn makes yoshi walk towards the opposite direction). Its fun AF.

@@Stock090 If you time it right you can go under running shoulder attacks with backturned KIN 3 and launch punish them with uf+4. I also like doing ff+1+2 to uf+1+2 to do back turned helicopter. Yoshi can do so much in back turned it's crazy, even backturned moonsault slayer.

Back turn transition of your choice to db+1+2, 3. That one is always a surprise. Too bad it isnt good frames on hit for an easy follow up, but few know that so feel free to keep the party going.

6:07 yes that 1+2+3 slow ass move deals no damage but on CH it guaratees cd1. but you need to be fast, like electric input. but it's not very common getting a CH on that

I have played tekken since T1. Been a Jin main since T4, started playing the other mishimas by T6, and you needed Mishimas to hang in TTT2. But T7 is so well balanced you can literally play who you want. And I am having *so much fun* party playing with Lei.

Not true, recommended is relative. I've never seen a single wolfenstein video, yet its come up in my recommended before. Just based off the fact I've watched a review of youngblood and been watching the news around youngblood. Yet I've never seen a single piece of gameplay beyond what was in the review.

That 1+2+3 into cd1 is hard as heck to get. It's +16-19 on ch. The cd1 is i17-18. So most of the time it's a virtual just frame.

Everyone complains about Jin, but I haven't seen a single Jin win a big major at all? Why aren't the top echelon of players using Jin if he's so good, and why isn't anyone having that much success with him?

He's good on paper but every time I see Book, CBM and other Jins play they get figured out. The kind of game plan Jin gravitates to seems predictable. His execution is also high pressure so tilt affects his mains hard, its a problem with Mishimas in general. The last Jin main to win anything was Sora in November last year.

Yoshi is a really good character to play and in tournaments, but you have to know him in and out and be a great player yourself in playing him.

I have to say I see more Yoshi's at tourneys than a lot of the cast like Bob, Raven, Lars, Shaheen and even Nina. I've barely seen any of those players, though I'll admit I don't always watch all the pools matches. I think Yoshi gets top 32 more than those characters I listed for sure. Except for Low High with Shaheen but he seems to be literally the only guy who uses him.

Yoshi df2 is a launcher uppercut, most characters have a right uppercut guaranteed counter hit. Df2, the characters should do a small right uppercut. Some character might not do it
