Never use special when they're surrounded, never land from throws (apart from a few occasions where Dave's mashing and never realises that it's a thing). This is like watching babies playing Streets Of Rage for the first time.

You're one of the best at making TIHYDPs. I like how you show context when it's needed without interrupted DSP's footage. You also don't add too many unnecessary clips like other compilers do. Great work!

Great video, I can tell a lot of love was put into this. I've beaten the game on Mania solo a couple times. Phil just sucks that bad.

Yeah I have beaten it on Mania with Axel as well. Phil wouldn't last on Mania.

@@GassiousClay7 Ha, ha, oh yeah, it's absurd he wouldn't use special much, it's like he forgot to push A or something. Heck he doesn't know about Up+C to land from being thrown by enemies(only does it without realizing it at random), yeah he's screwed.

Phil ragequit on Normal. On Normal. He should never touch a beat em up again, I can beat the game on Normal with one continue. So much for "impossible unless you cheat".

Yeah he made Normal look way, way harder than it actually is. SOR 2's Normal is much easier than SOR1's and SOR3's Normal settings.

@@mitu123Copper SoR 3 is ridiculous if you are not playing the Japanese version. Everybody is on crack, they move like crazy. SoR 1 is more difficult because you have much less moves, so bosses are harder (I hate that grenade alley!). SoE 2 in two players is maybe the easiest of the whole series (I used to play with my sister when she was like 7).

@@jakublulek3261 SOR4 is honestly the easiest one overall in the series, definitely after the balance patch. But I beaten SOR 3 on Normal and Hard years ago as well, same with SOR 1 on Hardest.

@@mitu123Copper I still didn't play SoR 4, so I cannot judge for myself but that game is kinda in it's own corner. SoR 3 is my favourite in the series, I used to play it a lot on Mega Drive and bit by bit got better and beat it. But non-Japanese versions are hardcore. I never put much time into SoR 1 but I beat it on 3DS.

@@jakublulek3261 SOR4 is great and might be my favorite of the series and I have hundreds of hours into it. For me, beating the US version of SOR3 is a matter of relying on blitz/sprint attacks for most of the game(definitely when upgraded) and using certain tactics on boss fights to handle them better. I personally like using Skate the most in SOR3 due to his blitz/sprint attack being so good.

They play maybe the best beat 'em up of all times and still suck at it. Tighest controls, no cheapness, amazing stages, lots of moves to get you out of trouble. They are not playing Double Dragon, where you get hit off-screen and fall into pits because controls are the worst, this game is a masterpiece. If you suck at it, it is only your fault (or bad emulation, but that rarely happens these days).

I'm too use to Skate since he's the fastest character and can dash so using the other characters just feels like a slog to me but, even if skate only has his speed going for him, I have beaten this game plenty of times on the hardest difficulty with him without using a single continue (i do use the max 9 lives though but i don't come close to running out of them) so his "This game is impossible solo" comments is some bs.

I'm starting to see why this TIHYDP video was Age-restricted based on the KZfaq community guidelines, because Phil & John kept grabbing each others' breasts in the game in the co-op walkthrough! XD P.S. I never knew that the North American release of Streets of Rage 2 was the same day as mah birth date (exactly 1 year before I was born). Just a little fun fact I'd like to drop in! ^-^"

They did both 1 & 2 on 3DS (I played 2 off one of the Japan-only 3D collections with my modded 3DS, though the games did get separate eshop releases in the west) but I don't see why not considering they'll put Space Harrier in EVERYTHING lol.

Yeah, the M2 ports on 3DS, XBox 360 and PS3 were really good. Much better than that weird mobile port that got put in the "Ultimate" Megadrive/Genesis Collection with its dropped inputs, wonky collision detection and glitchy AI.

I thought maybe he would at some point if not at launch, but IF he'd still bother to it probably won't be for a long while I bet. It's not like he'd have to buy it either as it's probably still on Game Pass.

He said he would play it in June but that has passed and who knows when he'll play it now. Heck the upcoming balance patch that will change the whole game may be out by the time he gets to the game.

Dark has always been pretty boorish but the synergy he had back in the day with Rambo and the fun he seemed to have with the games he played is undeniable compared to present day. It's just...yikes. His content has devolved so much in his quest to be more TOS friendly/ad friendly/"chill", he only flips his lid or shows his true feelings when someone refuses to donate to him.
