You should check out observation duty, scarier game buts it's literally all about watching a camera feed of some building, switching between rooms looking for things that change

It's still way more generous than I'm on Observation Duty. No timelimit, only one hallway to memorize, no extra tiny changes, if there's something wrong, you'll know when you see it rather than one guy out of 20 on a poster sitting instead of standing.

Visited for the first time earlier this year, looked at the station map and my hotel ahead of time, saw Exit 8 would get me the closest. Perfect. Easy. Got off the train, followed signs for like 35 minutes, and then eventually left the building at exit 6 because I figured close enough and I was never going to find 8 at the point... and yeah, no where near my hotel and still have to walk like another half hour with all my luggage. I thought I was booking a hotel close to the station! I had no idea that the station itself is a separate dimension and what appeared to be a hotel that was just 2 blocks away was actually in the next galaxy over!

This game really reminds me of P.T., except it looks like the developer used the looping concept of P.T. (without the brief intermission of the double doors) and a goal to reach the end point along with various details to look out for if you’re paying careful attention while looping

The problem with Shinjuku Station is that it's not one train station but 3 stations stacked side by side. If you enter from the west, you're passing through two commuter stations before finally reaching the JR station, and that's too much for the average first-time-in-Japan foreigner to comprehend.

That's kinda like Times Square Station in NYC; it's treated as the biggest station in the city but you have to walk an entire block westward through an underground walking tunnel to access the "blue line" from the main area, and in any lower street the blue line would have its own separate station.

I like how some anomalies are very obvious, but others require you memorizing the whole hallway. The big changes, though, encourage your mind to dump the space saved for remembering the space accurately, so you're sure to screw it up.

I was trying to find PACO …uh the jiggly cheesecake shop and it was near or in ( I’ll never know not going there again ) but I got lost so many times I forgot I had go into the same shop two times to ask for directions 🗺️ She was so nice - but my partner at the time was getting hangry we gave up and left and had pancakes in “Bills” XD
