Excellent reaction. Floor was born to sing this song. From the rock/pop verse and chorus to the operatic breakdown and finally the high belt at the end, not many singers can handle all of that in one song. Speaking of trolls, Yours Is An Empty Hope is Nightwish’s answer to them and is a real banger. So disregard the negativity and stick to your own positive message at the end.

Thank you, very nice reaction! Just Nightwish doing Nightwish things! Nightwish is their own genre and no other band comes close to the level they are at. Never, in the history of music entertainment, have a set of skills and talent collided in such powerful manner. Tuomas is a true genius as a composer and with lyrics.

It's pronounced V-ah-kin. It's an annual metal and rock festival in the small town of Wacken, Germany. It takes place in a huge cow pasture (hence the bulls head symbol) with two main stages and lots of other smaller stages for the many bands that are featured. In 2013 Nightwish was the headliner and was the final performance on the last day to a crowd of over 82,000 people. Other bands of note that year were Alice Cooper (who played right before Nightwish), Rammstein, Deep Purple, Anthrax, and many more

Another fab metal band is Sabaton who headlined Wacken 2019, when they celebrated 20 yrs. Sabaton played both main stages simultant with present and former band members! Swedish pagans could be a great start to cover thrm!

Hello again, SharpCharlie. Nightwish Army Phoenix subscriber back here for you. You are so right. Floor and the entire band are incredibly talented. Nightwish is the rare band whose live performances are even better than their studio productions. This entire Wacken (Vah-ken) 2013 concert is legendary as are many others since. Go to the comments and read Gabriel Bardac's comments, then click on more. You will get a history of Nightwish and links to all of the best videos. I just binged all of your reactions to Nightwish and I think you missed Gabriel's list.

You could have saved the unnecessary commentary and the Google search and done them before or after the video, not in the middle. The interruptions every two seconds are extremely annoying. Thumbs down!
