Manila may be more famous for its modern urban centres of Makati and BGC and all of our massive malls but the old walled city of Intramuros is the best destination to explore in Manila. The old cultural, political, and religious heart of the Spanish West Indies is not only home to amazing sights such as the San Agustin Church and Fort Santiago but also a great place to eat around.
From Filipino-Chinese Food just outside the walled city, and refreshing drinks at a gorgeous rooftop bar, to unique Filipino-Spanish food at Ilustrado Restaurant and amazing coffees at Papakape in Fort Santiago, there's heaps of places for you to refuel in between all your sightseeing.

I discovered your channel a few months ago when my wife and I are planning our Europe trip. I want to say thank you for uploading this kind of content. It helped us so much! Like a lot. We just came back from London, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice, and Paris. Most of the attractions we saw and food we ate are inspired by some of your itinerary! We will not travel again any time soon but we'll still watch your videos! I feel your sister's pain 😂. I got food poisoning when I went back home 7 years ago. I was sick from the 4th day and didn't get to enjoy the rest of the trip 🥲. My wife said we look a like. I told her it's just the hair and "you know not all filipinos look the same, right?" 😏
