Muhammad S was the prophet and founder of Islam. Most of his early life was spent as a merchant. At age 40, he began to have revelations from Allah that became the basis for the Qur’an and the foundation of Islam. By 630 he had unified most of Arabia under a single religion. As of 2020, there are over 2 billion Muslims in the world who profess, “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet.”

The prophet S.A.W would cry for us, make dua for us hoping to catch and enlighen our hearts when we would eventually come to be, after his departure. His love for us is immeasurable, yet he didn't know us and we love him back. More generous than an abundantly flowing river till the end of times. If the messenger of Allah is this intensely honourable - who is Allah? Allah says in Ch18, verse 109, in chapter of the cave: Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement." Allah, the lord of might and honour.

@@nufailanoon Volume 4, Book 52, Number 154 : Narrated by Ali (radiallaahu `anhu) I never saw the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) saying, “Let my parents sacrifice their lives for you,” to any man after Sa’d (radiallaahu `anhu). I heard him saying (to him), “Throw (the arrows)! Let my parents sacrifice their lives for you.” We come across many narrations in which the companions say these words to the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam): فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي (Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you!), but rarely do we see the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) doing the same for his companions, for it is indeed an honor not everyone deserves. If you read about the life of Sa’d bin Abi Waqas (radiallaahu `anhu), his noble qualities, his love for Allah and His deen and the sacrifices he made, you’ll see why he was one of the very few that the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) said these words to.

The reminder benefits the believer. Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) went to bed every night, he used to cup his hands together and blow over it after reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas, and then rub his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face and front of his body. He used to do that three times. Sahih al-Bukhari 5017 Book 66, Hadith 39 Vol. 6, Book 61, Hadith 536
