He would be the second All Defensive player on the roster. Jose is also a 3&D defensive PG who will provide shooting… A need that the Bulls should address given that Zach is the team’s best shooter and scorer. Trade for Mitchell Robinson (NYK) Somehow sign Free Agent PG Tyus Jones. This solves the Bulls defensive drop off, rim protection, size, wing snd PG issues. Second option for a package trade will involve the Spurs… TBC

I agree with everything you said here except keeping Vooch. It just seems to me that he's checked out of the Bulls this season. He was outplayed multiple times by non-starting centers, not because of lack of skill, but because of lack of effort. Hopefully that changes next season, but that's where I'm at with Vooch. Yep, there may be no options for trading him but I just want him gone (based on how I saw his performance this season).

I think trying to be competitive automatically puts us in a catch 22 where having a good offseason is impossible. Because if we want to be competitive we have to re-sign DeMar, it looks like we can’t do that for less than 40M, and to me signing DeRozan for 40M is an automatic failure because it’ll be impossible to put a roster around him that is better than last season’s was. To me the video backdrop accompanying your initial commentary, with De Mar seemingly 'coaching' Zach, speaks volumes. Nowhere in that video do I see Zach enthusiasm. Everyone missed the point of this video lmfao. We move zach for maybe a first and a young player that a team just doesn't have use for. I'm not the biggest fan of giddey, but the thunder have picks we want and hes still very young, and he has shown upside. He genuinely doesn't have a role on that team and the thunder could absolutely use an off ball offensive option to pair with SGA and Williams. I think likely as you have said in the past, Zach will be moved at the trade deadline in hopes of roping a bigger deal. We sign Demar like you said to something hopefully team friendly. We know Demar isn't going anywhere, so I hope we can have as little impact to our cap as possible. Assuming we do move zach, make a massive push for claxton. I think no matter what the team offers DeMar he isn't staying. If it was a matter of money he would already be signed. If it was a matter of years they would have figured it out by now. He clearly knows it's a losing situation he likely is just waiting to see what the Clippers do with PG before he makes things official. I also think that the major reason the Bulls won't go full tear down is because what would that even mean? They want to trade Zach, DeMar is leaving on his own more than likely, and Vooch is stuck here no matter what. More folks have to have faith in Demar man. Three years and his mentorship is leading the team as it stands into their prime. Ayo, Coby, Pat.. they are gonna be 25-26. Why keep lavine when he isn’t happy and has no leadership skills? Ideally Vuc, Carter and even Craig plus Zach should all be on the table. Only a couple pieces away right now. A big that plays d and gets offensive rebounds, and a star that’s willing to take on the mantle of building up a team that can play on both sides of the court, consistently without their ego being affected.
