Biddybuggy is indeed used in time trials for the hit box, but because the hit box lets the vehicle to hang off the edge without falling off, allowing for much tighter lines. Mr. Scooty is used for tracks with walls as the smaller hit box lets you take tighter lines without hitting the walls.

I've been learning a lot from your videos! I main light blue Yoshi because my aunt got me a light blue Yoshi plush when I was little so it is my favorite Mario character. I've played Mario Kart since Mario Kart Wii but I never learned any more advanced tech tho so its really cool to see you put that tech into action. I usaully use the yoshi bike with rollers and paper glider but seeing you using outside drift has inspired me to try mr. scooty. Outside drift is still strange to me but I'm getting there. I also have an Idea! -Look what the current world record for any track is and note down the combo they use. -Invert the combo (so if the wheels had the 2nd highest speed stat, choose wheels with the 2nd lowest speed stat). -Try and come first place on that track with the inverted (worst) combo for that track. Its kind of like the video you made "Can I win with the worst combo?" but harder. Also I used this this combo and won 5 times in a row lol

Glad your channel went into my recommended, your videos are fun yet informative. Keep it up! I'm curious how you feel about the Traction stat? Is there gonna be a video about maxing it (lol) I played a ton of MK7 but am a noob in MK8, when I started I felt like everything was so slippery it was annoying to take any turn; then I tried Master Cycle Zero + Triforce tires, which aside from a cool themed look gave me relatively balanced stats and higher traction than usual, from there I started to enjoy the driving feel and it was closer to what I was used to. But then I learned about the mini turbo stat and speed not being as important anymore, so I'm trying to get used to a more "meta" build while still trying to aim for a little balance (Metal Mario + City Tripper + Roller) I still miss the high traction but it seems like it's a stat nobody really cares about so idk if it's just me being weird for obsessing over it...

I was messing with some combos and I found a pretty good one! its Shy guy, pipe frame, silver tires, and cloud glider. You should try it sometime!🙂

I never play online since I don't have Nintendo Online anymore and my internet poops out randomly for races to feel good, but when the latest wave came out I swapped from Waluigi Biddybuggy to Diddy Mr. Scooty day 1 because I thought "haha, funny monkey." I fell in love with it and now use it as my main get up, it actually plays so nicely!

Here’s my hot take of the day, red shells work too well and are more fun to play around when you can get them to crack on stuff easier. Don’t get me wrong, in mkwii it was a bit too easy because sometimes it would literally just crack on nothing, but in this game they are too good and force you to play defensively. You hardly ever get to be offensive about green shells and lay down bananas as traps as a result. TLDR: Item play is more fun when reds track less and is more skill based as well.

I honestly want to just see a full lobby of Diddybuggies now!

MK10 should definitely have a game mode without Lakitu. There could even be a new speed run category called ‘Lakituless’. How cool would that be? I’d honestly play that. So many ultra shortcuts that should exist aren’t possible because of him and his fishing rod. This would basically create a whole new game, much like it did for MK games in the past. Even if we don’t get a game mode without lakitu, I’d still love to see a ‘Lakituless’ speed run category via some sort of mod.

If I had to be honest my favourite combo/my is Larry scooty (Larry, mr scooty, rollers, waddle wing) first of all it was a small hit box so its Easier to not get Mario karted and the waddle wing adds some speed while Larry, mr scooty and the rollers keep the mini turbo stat high and it’s just cute the rollers really sell the idea that it’s a scooter and snaking is very viable with this combo.

You lose a race that character is eliminated. You win a race that character stays alive and you move on to the next character. Thought it would be a fun series!

Diddybuggy may have one less speed than Yoshibuggy, but in the end, they both have such high color co-ordination stats that does it even matter? We all know that color co-ordination is the REAL most important stat in the game.

Here's a combo you should try with the Diddy Kong and/or Yoshi weight class because I'm having a blast with it: Mr. Scooty, GLA Tires, Cloud Glider. Not only does the kart look luxurious & nice, it's got really balanced stats and is a lot of fun to drive on
