@davidthompson9141
@davidthompson9141 22 күн бұрын
I disagree, much of what he says is BS. He says he took over a squad that were 8th and going downwards as players were getting to an age where they needed a new challenge. He took over an incomplete but hugely promising young squad and was given significant resources to plug the gaps. He's added 3 non goalscorers to the front 3 that are only there for pace and nothing else. He also only has 2 attacking plays which have become hugely predictable and easy for the opposition to stop. He doesnt know how to break down a low block defence either and has dropped 23 points against pretty weak low blocks, forget about the better ones we will run into. Add to that he cant drill a defence and he isnt addressing basic problems week after week. I stopped buying the hype months ago. I think he will improve us a bit this summer but I think we'll still fall far short of what is required and probably have a write off of a season next season if he stays.

We have to back ange through to next year. His first season in Japan he finished 12th, this guy knows how to build a team from the ground up. I'm honestly surprised that he keeps mentioning a title charge next year where I think it's more realistic in his 3rd or 4th season. With a couple more transfer windows I truly believe spurs will have a better chance to win anything than our last few managers.

I could not agree more, you can also look at the way brisbane roar and how they evolved so quickly and aggressively. Ange will do great things the hard part is managing our expectations on what the team has earned and what we expect. Be prepared for the ground work which may disappoint but brings years and years of greatness we did not expect. Ange has that ability and clearly wants to deliver. It's too early to judge on what he can do, but it's easy to judge what he intends to do

Ange can't win anything in epl or Champs with his extreme high line system. It's too risky in many ways. He wants to play attacking football but he doesn't even have many attacking patterns. And he ignores defensive tactics and set piece tactics. He lost 22 goals from set pieces but he says it's not important.😅 He doesn't analyze his opponent teams' play style. He is doing the same thing for 1 year even though other teams have finished analyzing his football. That's why he is losing continuously now. But he never made any complement about his system at all. All his opponents now park tbe bus, counterattack, and use set piece patterns to win against Tottenham. That's the obvious solution to win them. 😅 Ange's build-up pattern is also always the same. That's why they lose the ball continuously in the middle because their opponents already know what they will do.

A lot of love here for the guy, and i get it, he's got a tremendous genuineness about him but the reality is that his high press approach has been found wanting and unless he accepts that adapting in the EPL is not a choice but a necessity than there'll be more of the same next season. Spurs are an extremely easy team to score against and the attitude of "they score 3, we'll score 4" simply wont cut it. 70% possession in many games, but end up losing isn't clever tactics.

Poch, Jose and Conte were all good/great coaches in their own right. They couldn't get Spurs a trophy. We must stick with Ange as we can see the younger academy teams are doing so well atm and Levy needs to back Ange for at least 2 seasons if not more like most people have said it took Klopp and Arteta a few seasons to get a trophy but their fan bases were also divided for a while too. It's about the journey. We have no divine right!!!

Back Ange. He is honest. He says it how he sees it. As armchair fans we always feel as though we sometimes know better. But we don't and neither do most pundits. Yes we have certain frailties and raised eyebrows (set pieces etc), but he will sort this. It is a marathon, not a sprint. Sadly in today's world we are expecting ourselves over the finishing line before we have even begun to race.

Some fans forget we are rebuilding. NOT competing. Doesnt mean we had a good start means we're there competing. It just meant there are glimpse of what we're capable of and we build on it. What are fans expecting this season? Qualifying and competing in CL next? C'mon, Europa next season will be a good test after the summer rebuild. BE EXCITED!

Why do you constantly have any topic about Ange? No offence but had you looked into where most Australian players play? You should do a feature on the Australian players in Scotland. Hearts of Midlothian have 4 Aussie players where the majority play. Never once seen anything about them? I understand the importance of him being an Australian icon in the UK but come on.

People have been waiting for this chance to stick the knives in but I think it's the time that he is finding out which players have the bottle to step up to the plate and show him what they're made of in the hard times and some players have been found wanting to be honest. I won't say who I think they are but it will be interesting to see who will be still here next season.

Tottenham ranks 4th in Europe in spending on player recruitment over the past 3 years. Stop blaming the players. The current loss streak due to disgraceful performance is entirely Ange's fault. If your tactics don't work, you should think of the next best solution, but you're not doing that at all. Go to the Scottish league where you were.

Ange is a good manager for what he did in his first spell at spurs without premier league expirience , creating a offensive style of play and passion and believe back to club after losing the team best stiker kane and other veterant like lloris and perisic plus injuries , he need to learn from this season and levy need to back him so the team can improve in what it lacking (defensevely and squad bench in terms of quality and injury like this season) to win a trophy wish have been a long time goal of the club and the fans and the players
