Great to see you're working with your new See More putter, after your fitting with Andy Gorman. I'm anxious to see your coaching session when you go back to Andy. You obviously did well in your clock drill session, but I did notice that you're eyes may be a little too far inside the ball. Your shoulders are even with your toe line, so your posture is good. That indicates to me that you should work on standing a little closer to the ball, so your eyes are just inside the ball (closer than you are now). Andy may have to change your lie angle slightly to make that possible. Keep us updated on your putting progress!

100 CLUB Hopefully you get really comfortable with this new putter John. Just a thought is you might want to do a win the Scotty Cameron with the buy me a coffee auction like for the driver. Not sure how attached you are to it though. Just an idea.

Very professional looking putter that is👍 I think it was Crenshaw (one of the greatest putters ever) who said that putting practice is a bad idea as you're only practicing missing more putts than you're holing. I always thought that was strange coming from him. I certainly put some practice in when I was still playing.

I did a pro tip video almost at the start of my channel with Nick Rogers the head professional at Falmouth Golf Club. (He will be back on very soon I hope) and it was all about when you warm up before a round not practicing the long putts but practicing shorter ones. Practice making putts not missing them… interesting idea isn’t it.

Your putting stance / posture looks good and a definite improvement over the old. With a custom made just for you and practice I know your putting will improve. I like the red stripe design. Hoping to see a new Oggie next season. 👍🇨🇦👨‍🦳

Good morning Richard. I think that in time it will not only help my putting but help my golf all round. My back is usually pretty fragile and if a taller stance lessons that pain problem that’s got to help my long term game.

Absolutely love Seemore putters, worst thing I ever did selling mine a few years back! The concept is brilliant, but you do need to practice! Think it will be a Godsend John, the centre shaft gives it such a great feel and balance!! Watching your first couple of vlogs with it, I think it might help if you raise shaft slightly so toe isn't in air! I'm no expert but I used to do that and changing really helped me!! You will have loads of fun practicing, I'm backing you to be deadly next year.

Hi there Simon, yes I think I need to work on my posture and get some lessons with it before we see the full impact. And yes I have noticed that I am a bit toe up with it. It’s funny you don’t really notice until you edit your own videos lol

@@BIGOGGIEGOLF the only reason I noticed was that I used to do the same thing! It hindered my feel, might work for you, wasn't being pedantic as your putting is way more successful than mine! I just love the fact that as a big community, any tips at least offer a different perspective

@@simonthorpe6971 hey always offer advice and never worry about doing so. I have to admit that I noticed it myself. It may be that my back won’t allow that complete posture, it may be that I haven’t been standing right, or simply that the putter needs a bit of adjustment, which I kind of expected once I had used it a little and got the lessons x

Personally I would sell the Scotty, the shaft is too short so gives you back ache, take it right out of the equation buy selling it and use the money to fund your trip back to Andy for a follow up lesson.👍🙂

Hi John, the vast majority of my putting practice is 4 footers. Takes the pressure off long putts and chips. I've got a video out on it in a few weeks.

Hi there my friend. I think that’s key isn’t it, practicing putting bit missing. Gives you confidence and I find k miss far more of the three foot and inside than I do longer putts. I think it’s pressure of expectation. I look forward to watching your video x

@@BIGOGGIEGOLF Tension is a killer John. And looking for it going in. If I've missed a small one it's because I was looking for it and turned my shoulders. 10 minutes before every round is enough. LIke you, my back doesn't like a long session. Oh to be young again!

I absolutely loved the shaft when I tried it on Andy Gorman’s putter. The difference between yours and a standard shaft is so noticeable, even for a high handicapper. So having one in my own putter is amazing.

That's gonna be a proper sniper's rifle that John..once you get used to the longer club new stance/posture (it won't take long) you'll never wanna use a normal length putter again. Fitted by Andy into a 36" putter (Evnroll) myself in 2017.

Hi there Mark I did see some Evnroll putters at Andy’s fitting place and they do look very good. I think I just need more practice now because this putter is a lot heavier than I am used to x

I have a similar putter to you John, a Seemore SB-1 with an Accra graphite shaft. Looks and feels great.

I would keep your Scotty John. A lot of putting is confidence and you used to putt well with it. You never know - you may come to miss it

You will soon be putting like Zach Johnson and the late great Payne Stewart who used Seemore putters to great effect. Would love your old Scotty if you ever decide to sell it.
