It's refreshing to see bigger content creators having the experience I've had since ranked 2.0 dropped. Winning is harder now and even on a losing streak my hidden mmr doesn't drop. Love ranked 2.0 so much. Very rewarding system.

I got 6 losses in a row yesterday, hopped on a different game, lost those matches, stopped playing games, ate a mid single rib and got diarrhea

Hidden mmr is so fucked up this season. Last season was my first on pc and I hit gold 2 with a 1.4 kd. This season I’ve constantly been matched against emerald and diamond peak players which makes no sense

so true, i’ve hit gold and its been nothing but wallers and ex-champs/peak diamonds. solo queue is impossible this season

10:47 shield's worst placement is on stairs for this exact reason. Not only will you get pushed like the Iana did but she had stair advantage at her angle being able to shoot your feet when she hit your shield. It's also just straight up a bad idea to push stairs with any shield because all sorts of bs happens like getting tapped when you're rushing up the stairs with blitz. deathtrap for a shield.

I uninstalled last night because of the state of the servers this season. Hit registry is utterly horrendous. Last season was the first time I tried ranked seriously, played like 180 games. Not once did I finish a game with 0 kills. I've played probably 25 games this season and have finished with 0 kills like 4 times. The players aren't better (actually, they're considerably worse which is even more frustrating), my ping isn't different, just feels like the bullets do absolutely no damage every other match. Kill cams show something completely different than when I was shooting. It's borderline unplayable since the update and yet ubisoft asks for more money...

i went on in insane win streak of about 8 games, and ive lost about 9 in a row now, I noticed this last season too, just streaks of winning then streaks of losing. Its been a struggle to even get out of bronze.

It’s so dumb, if I’m a silver but I’m playing with high golds and low plats my hidden mmr is low plat high gold, but if the game thinks my hidden mmr is low plat high gold, then MAKE ME THAT RANK. And it already makes me look bad being in silver (even though I know I’m actually high gold low plat) and on top of that, since I’m playing against those higher skill players I have a negative KD. It stops you from showing any sign of improvement on your visual rank, it shows your rank is silver even though it should be high gold like the mmr, and therefore puts you into games where it’s a near fair fight for both sides, but if I have exactly a 50/50 win rate, then how am I going to rank up and show I deserve gold on my visual rank? Fucking bullshit

I have same issue this season, 1.45KD so not great not terrible but almost every game is a loss this season, barely creeping out of copper after 15 matches.

And yet, for some reason I keep going against multiple season champions back to back; usually it’s a 3-5 stack of them too. This new hidden MMR stuff is very frustrating to me. And moreover, it carries into standard games as well. I can’t tell you how many losing streaks I’ll have each day playing this game on Standard only and I play against champions and diamonds sweating their asses off against causal players? I don’t know man… siege is just so frustrating now.

I saw some shots that looked like headies to me, and a couple times it looked like bullets didn’t connect like they were before the season. Also seeing that prefire on your head in kayak lockers was kinda precise Findings: im not crazy, this happens to everyone not just me

This new ranked system is just awful man. I'm currently at a 0.6 w/l and a 1.6 KD because I'm Platinum. Meaning naturally I get queued into Diamond-Champion lobbies. Meanwhile my teammates are a single emerald and 3 silvers. Just at a loss for words for who thought this was a good idea

playing with 2 of my mates and we're always getting the boosted diamond randoms, meanwhile enemies always know our spots all the fucking time.

First ever time playing ranked and i made it to Bronze 3, now im finding Plat players in my game, not just one or two either 😃 I dont know if i would say i suck, but either way i think its bull$hit that i got even a Diamond in my ranked game. Yeah, starting everyone in the same rank is such a great idea! I love having to wait for weeks after the season comes out to actually be able to play based on skill and not a diceroll of getting coppers on my team and champions on the enemy team!

Yeah, I feel the same way. My friends and I use to play nothing but Ranked and I was getting to Emerald, but last season and this season are just brutal and I don't feel like sweating my ass off in Copper just to have a little badge next to my name. We decided to just go back to Standard and have been having a much better experience since making that decision.

I've noticed this happens a lot at the start of seasons, even without cheaters in the equation. Since everyone starts at copper, early ranks have massive disparities in skill.

Question so I have cross play on and I queue in every once and a while and go positive but when I queue with cross play off with my friends my KD instantly goes Dow to like a 0.2. So are console people more skilled or something

I truly gave up on ranked when I had a 1.6 K/D with a 0.4 W/L at Copper IV and my teammate who had a 0.2 W/L and a ZERO POINT FUCKING ONE K/D was nearly copper II. The game actually handholds people who can't play the game for their life and just kicks people who do good down, constantly. No matter what I do, I just CANNOT get out of fucking copper.

Got back to r6 when it started popping off (last summer), got my silver rank after that gold then emerald with 1.3 kd and im nowhere near emerald lvl. then quit around january. now like 2 weeks ago i started to play again and keep getting in diamond & champ lobbys who swing everything with ash & vigil 2.5 scope + horizontal grip and some of them are cheaters too. it sucks man.

Shields have priority over shield animations 😢 Everything that causes an animation will either be slower or faster for everyone else but you 😢 For instance: ADS: just tapping it makes everyone see you’re aiming even when you aren’t in full aim Shield vaulting: even if you’re facing your enemy and shooting, to the enemy, you are facing straight forward and vaulting, THEN you turn if they failed to kill you in your animation. Shield hit: Your shield goes to the side and back in front of you. By the time the shield is in front of you, the animation of your shield coming back is still happening I like to say with my party that the biggest nerf for shields are their animations

I'm 2 to 5, started playing ranked matches the day before yesterday, note that I had gone MONTHS without even touching the game and then as soon as I got back to it, all I did was play a few hours of map training and then I hopped straight into ranked matches. Needless to say, I got a 0.8 KD right now and as I mentioned, I'm at 2Ws and 5Ls, my last game was pretty good though, I tried changing the controls to crouch on space and hold and vault on X, but I figured that wasn't working for me so I reverted the changes and lo and behold, I was actually able to kill 9 dudes and bump my KD back up to 0.8, because initially it was 0.5 💀and I'm copper IV right now. In comparison to the last season it is AWFUL, since I played only 4 ranked matches (or maybe it was 5) and won every single one of them.

I feel the same. It's so hard to feel like there's a sense of progress. Am I getting better or worse??? I don't know anymore

Wish there was a non ranked mode setup exactly like ranked for the most part still have ban picks and maps but add non ranked maps into the mix

slightly unrelated, but ive been having server issues where the game just disconnects me and wont let me back in, so i get the ranked abandon penalties and the mr loss. its horrendous and i feel like im afraid to just play the game

I use to be plat every season, this season Despite being positive in KDA, ive went on 10+ match lose streaks and im the middle of bronze ranks after 40 matches. Feels like every game either has a cheater, both teams cheating, or just griefers who have given up on playing ranked yet still que up.

Weirdly enough this has been my best season to start. Currently gold one with a 1.7kd and 1.5 win loss. I have given up on this game numerous times over the last two years after playing since skull rain. I love r6, and glad to see it thriving. But I def miss old r6.

Can you show how much rp you get at the end of each match? For me in copper V I get about 38 per win and minus 15 per loss each match with ranked 2.0. My friend gets about 115 rp per win and it’s making me annoyed.

Overwatch and R6. both games with an extremely addictive gameplay loop accompanied with a dev team that are too stubborn when it comes to listening to their player base’s grievances.

I don’t know how console compares to pc and its ranked system but I reached emerald 1 last season and i keep getting put up against champs from last season despite me not having the best stats, but it definitely feels harder in terms of who im going against

this season feels so different for some reason.

switched from console to pc(3 months in) and new to R6, got up to silver 5 on console then just had terrible match making for 10 games straight(even ran the varsity charm). On PC i am 10 games in and no wins at all I'm playing against emeralds and up from last season and my team mates are around copper silver and the odd gold and or emerald up, the other team will have site set up perfectly and yet mine will get butt hurt we're down 1-2 then start grieffing by shotting other teammates and destroying utility (cams. traps, ETC.) and its super annoying. this hidden MMR match making is ridiculous. will probably just do standard at this point cause it seems actually possible to win games.
