The Unihertz Titan is a rugged Blackberry inspired Kickstarter smartphone. It packs a physical keyboard similar to Blackberry devices of the past. Unlike Blackberry however Unihertz has focused on durability turning the Titan into a tank.

This phone would be perfect for me. Im a builder/designer and the ruggedness and long lasting battery is exactly what someone in my field of work needs. The price point is just right since it'll be cheaper to replace if it does happen to get crushed or dropped.

@@David-eq4xb Usually High end devices gets two major updates. I have a mid range Xiaomi device for almost an year the mi 8 lite and it's still working flawlessly. I might have changed the rom to pixel experience but that's not the case it's still good and no lags.

I bought a Passport when it first came out, after years of other Blackberries, now run a Motion to get Android. Titan gives both! Hope it makes it thru Kickstarter - love it! Thanks WillyDu 🙂😎 (think there was some other bearded bloke involved too 😉)

Once they get all the stuff worked out on this I’d totally buy it. My iPhone is constantly covered in crap from work and the touch screen is not a fan of it. I think it would help me cut down on screen time too. Let’s hope I remember this in a few moths and check back in lol.

It's not looking good...the only apps that work are the camera, the calculator, the photo gallery and the weather app. The phone still looks very nice, it has no physical damage but the apps don't work.

I remember having a blackberry tour in high school I felt so cool. I also remember when BBM went down for like a day and all the Albanian girls went nuts. This was of course pre-iPhone 4S. It was that phone that replaced all the blackberry’s that hadn’t converted over at that point. It was my conversion device too at the time.

BB 9220 ~ BB Q5 ~ BB Q10 ~ BB 20 (Classic) ~ BB Passport ~ BB KeyONE I must admit, BB 20 wins overall... but for two hand usage - passport all day, everyday, twice on sunday! Thing is, BBOS was so fluid, since every app was sandboxed - even if an app froze it never affected system UI :)

A curious side effect of having the same number of pixels in both directions is that the screen remains exactly the same when you rotate the device. (Same goes with aspect ratio of videos).

My personal phone is a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, a great phone, but this unihertz titan is what im looking for as a business phone, i love the design too and the fact that it has keyboard will make it so much faster typing and even creating documents on it
