If we are generalizing, yes. Yet it also depends on the ENTP and their Enneagram type. If they are a healthy 2 they could be pretty damn loyal. And a 7 ENTJ is just scary to imagine lmao

Same here, ENTJs are extremely good with their commitment, loyalty and trustworthy as compared to ENTPs. Similar to an INFJs, ENTJs are also looking for a deep meaning full connection with the partner and truthfulness from one another. Due to this reasons INFJ x ENTJ relationship dynamic works extremely well.

Hmmm I think.... if we do a tier list of every opposite ship taht would be 100% subjective. Because for example I have a ton of INTJs telling me that they hate ESFPs and there are the ones who love them. So.... idk?

Dude, you are at a such a right place for this qestion you have no idea! I am in the middle of writing my new webcomic and there will be semi-ship of ENTx and ENTP (although details might change later that's just how it goes). And I am focusing A LOT on what are their Enneagram types. My ENTP character is a 7 and they are more laid back and fun loving than the ENTx (who is a 3). So in their case the ENTP will be more opened to any form of relationship, but they are still going to be a little distant. 7s either go full on with someone or just mess around. And I think that an ENTP 7 would actially be a combination of those two modes. So it's a slow burn for sure, and it's only natural for it to be this way. So I REALLY get the 'SHUT UP AND KISS ALREADY' thingy. I can talk about it for HOURS

@auraezahra I would say it’s one of those set up to fail things. It’s trying to force together two of the strongest personalities where one of them is absolutely the most independence minded and the other is absolutely the most control minded. I would say, this is a case of it being like, trying to shove together like magnetic poles, or otherwise flying too close to the sun. Now they possibly could learn to get together through a sort of enemies were rivals to lovers situation, where they had to learn to work together because they are both fundamentally outgoing, world oriented, logical intuitives. So they have a sort of similar basic style because they share ENT. My best guess is the ENTJ can learn to appreciate the surprising vision and drive of the ENTP, while the ENTP can learn to appreciate the direction and discipline of the ENTJ, each developing a mutual admiration of each other, as a sort of complement who rounds out their weak spots, and inspires them to improve themselves. I am very partial to the Kersey style of typology, and that includes his pairing guide, is to keep the second letter and flip everything else. So ISFJ-ESTP, ENTJ-INFP. I genuinely don’t trust cognitive functions at anything for crying out loud with one pairing that was only off by a single letter. The video here says they can’t work because the cognitive functions are too different, but then the video completely ignores that only one pairing later to say that they have almost all letters in common so it’s a great match.

I my personal experience, if something works in real life, it doesn't mean that it will 100% work in fiction. I noticed that intuitives have more potential of being on the same page with intuitives, and sensors with sensors. So idk, it depends.... I guess?

MBTI is pretty solid for one thing it’s based on not just conjecture but also clinical evidence. This also means that it is falsifiable. For example, if was found that these binary axes do not exist, or if they functioned in ways different than described. And for another type indicator test, have substantially higher replication rates, and then do other psychological studies. Only 38% of psychological studies get replication meanwhile typology test have a 75% absolute replication rate and a 94% replication rates if allowing for change of one letter. This proves that not only is personality, fairly consistent, but also that everyone indeed uses both sides of each access and somebody with very well balance preferences can give readings indicative of both, even if they do ultimately have a more strong, preference one way. In comparison, you have big five which does crazy things like claim being an extrovert is linked to being happy, and being open to experience is linked to being empathetic. Then, for example, there’s Me who is a very strong introvert, yet is overall a very happy person, and also rates very high and openness, despite being a diagnosed clinical psychopath who has minimal empathy. And inventories like big five have no underlying theory so they are not falsifiable. Therefore, they are fundamentally non-scientific.
