I am asking you why you brought up your race at all.

Because the Pastor was showing pictures of white Jesus. The European Christians made pictures of Jesus that looked like them. They didn’t know what Jesus looked like, but they made his picture resemble them. Jesus was not white...he was a middle eastern man who probably had brown skin. That’s the only reason I brought up being white... no racism intended. This man is preaching the truth.

As a born again believer it baffles me how the color of Jesus' skin is relevant at all to the fact that Jesus died for MANKIND on the cross, not the black race or the white race... if not even the Bible mentions it, truly there is no reason for being caught up by it or putting any importance in the matter. The only reason I posted a reply at all is the fact that pictures of Jesus as a white man have always bothered me...I guess because I thought this might make non-whites feel less able to relate to him. I'd like to lovingly implore you to understand that there is only one path. One narrow way. One God. One Truth. We don't all worship the same God. Whichever it may be doesn't cut it. Yahweh does not do universalism. The bible says our God is a jealous God. We belong to Him. There are gods (man made) in one's life, then there is God in one's life. Limiting the title of the Lord of Glory to "good person" is simply blasphemous. The Father tells us He is well pleased with His beloved Son and commanded us to "listen to him". So if we obey and listen to Him, when He says "I am the way, the truth and the life, noone comes to the Father but through me", it would do us well to listen and follow Him only.

This is a very powerful an very anointed message(and badly needed). However, he became POLITICALLY CORRECT in my opinion when he went with the colorless argument of Jesus. There is undeniable evidence in scripture, historical records, and in many of the apocryphal books of the color of Jesus and most of the characters of the Bible. It is not racist to tell the truth(or just avoid the subject all together). Based on his words I think he knows the this.
