For those confused why you can’t find the song, it’s an oldie of his from when he was part of a band called Dead Indian, same name so you can look the studio version up easily on KZfaq and streaming!
@edenisburningАй бұрын
He has his own KZfaq topic channel and another just basic channel. It has all this. What universe are these people in where they think it's okay to steal other people's music and post it on your channel.
@colin9958Ай бұрын
I'm sure he'd take it down if Jessie asked. It's just a fan that wanted to share Jessie's songs; I don't think there's any malicious intent. This song made me a huge fan, and I wouldn't have heard it if it wasn't posted here

Yeah, I found Dead Indian and Welles in early May, 2024, after listening to a bunch of Jesse Welles music, love him.

This song could work as a big ass studio production with orchestral arrangements and a choir. Please never do that.

Welcome back, Mr. Lennon, it was good to see you again, at least in passing, again. What a system, reversed to completion, why can't I see it again? The tears aren't usually opaque, but what's usual? Breakfast on a Saturday morning with the birds and the funk from the downstairs neighbor again. What in His good grace are we doing to ourselves again?

I love this song Jesse, it's very emotive & intense, and at this tempo it hits harder than your next version, though I do like the harmonica outro in the next version. I'm learning to play it, and it's not as easy as it sounds. Awesome. ❤

This is not my place, I think you made some great steals!! Keep on bringing it, this was the first song I listened to of Jesse Welles, in April or March, this year has been the hardest year of my life, so far & I have had a long life, hopefully I will live another 20-30 years, my family genetics are strong and we live long long lives, fortunately my husband also has the Lazarus genes like mine. We have 3 sons, I need to share Jesse with them, though knowing Tristan, he’ll think he’s introducing me to someone or something new, my oldest is a kick in the ass. Make your way up to Washington state, someday, so we can support you.❤❤

You're an amazing talent. A revolutionary, if its allowed to happen. I'm 48 and absolutely horriied by the disaster capatalism and planned catastrophe being engineered to literally police people thoughts! We need songwriters like you we need your songs because we need a better society. I know you will inspire so many young musicians to actually write real songs and hopefully the materialistic selfish catalogue of standard studio tools and circles of songwriters get drowned out. You have a real way of cutting through the moment you start singing. With a voice that has a soul that seems older than it should be. You're effortlessly cool and I think its wonderful. Haven't been this excited about a singer songwriter for a decade maybe 2. All the best to you and enjoy your bright future. And, I'm sure it doesnt need to be said, never stop writing and smile when you can. Check out some roy harpers stuff from the early 70s he's conscious too... different but I'd love to hear some of that reworked in your style. That's my fantasy that'll never happen , I know :)

Bravo. Can't wait to see you on "Austin City Limits" soon enough. All the greats get there. And you are definitely in that honorable songwriter/singer league. You will love playing there, because the crowd hushes to really hear your lyrics as well as the music. Look into the South by Southwest music festival. Just a suggestion if you are not signed to a record label yet. Austin has connection. And New Orleans is finally sleeping up it's music industry game. Thank God.
