'This is not the society we fought for' - Judge Albie Sachs

He believes that so much has been achieved since the dawn of democracy, but corruption may undo all of that. The finance minister tabled his budget vote yesterday, announcing various funding measures for some of the most pressing challenges, especially those set to address social issues. Judge Sachs speaks to Ayanda Nyathi.

Yes, they blindly faught without calculating the consequences neglecting to studying the rest of Africa and the elements they associated themselves with. They expected de Ruyter to fix Eskom in 2 years undoing the result of government and its cadres corruption of 20+ years while at the same time tying his hands and limiting his powers in their attempt to cover up their corruption and incompetence. I hope de Ruyter kept the "receipts
