In the variety show Master in The House, Seo jin commented that he could not relate to the joy of seing his friends with their children. Because he didnt have any. I guess this show really change his views on a parents love. If im not mistaken he admits that after doing the show with the kids he now understands the joy and happiness of having children.

Aw, Seo Jin is completely different when he’s with children. I see that here and also when he sees his niece, Ellie. Ellie’s like the apple of his eye, but she’s a bit older now. I think he misses being around young children, so him being in this show is perfect.
