I just realized. Out of all the characters in the game, Andrew was the only one who was never in any real danger. Every other character had been attacked but him.

10:12 In my university, we called them 'senior student'. I had one of them in my class and she was in her 60s. Good for them to pursue further education despite already being years into their careers. I can see myself too taking some seminars later on in life because science is constantly evolving, and it can help to stay up to date.

we have a bunch of them at my school. i havent seen anyone that old but bc a lot of people cant afford university right out of highschool in my country, its common for people to work and then become part time students later in life. ive had multiple group partners with kids

ValgardKvlt is a beast for editing this whole thing. Imagine how many hours of raw footage there was to make this long a video with cuts and edits throughout.

I find it kinda symbolic how to save them you the player needs to let them go when they get separated. There are different points where you trying to save them gets them killed instead to save them you let them go and they fight for themselves such as Angela, Daniel and John The saddest ending is the one where he kills himself with a gun you can find. Like Conner said they are all dying the same way. Taylor gets hanged, Angela can't breath (smoke/ water), John gets crushed, Daniel gets impaled by the fence.

i love the detail of how they died in the house fire is how they died in the salem and is also how the salem monsters tried killing them in the exact same way... e.g. the girl who died in the house fire by hanging died in the salem by hanging and the salem monster version uses the tongue to try kill the version you play as by wrapping it around her neck like the rope in hanging... and the guy who got impaled in house fire got imapled in salem and the monster tries to impale the version you play as

the games sets up a mystery about whats going on only to end the end give a twist ending equal to when a kid writes "then he woke up it was a dream all along... or was it?" i feel like there's no way to have possibly guessed that was what was happening nothing disproves it from having happened but there's no evidence through out the game that its whats going on which makes the mystery and reveal not feel as rewarding especially with how sloppy its handled.

House of Ashes was the best in my opinion. They hinted at weird bat creatures, and in the end it turned out to be weird bat creatures. And because they revealed the creatures early, the horror element is deminished, so they turn to action to keep giving the player thrills. That plus Jason and Salim's friendship was a major boon for the game's memorability. Good directions, uncomplicated story, memorable characters, it was a good game.

To get the true ending (which is what they got) you have to make choices that don’t look like they matter but they do. Like John wanting a drink or not. The 4 monsters piling around the house near the end would kill whoever is still alive and if they didn’t make the right choices. During the scene where they do this choices rapid fire the screen of character traits, hinting how you could avoid that.

If it was all in his head, then why did the little girl at the start see a weird claw hand monster and decide to burn her family? Is the moral of the story that people with severe psychological and physical brain trauma who present with debilitating psychosis should be kept in a facility where they can be cared for, and not be allowed to roam the general area where their trauma occurred? Wait, how was he a bus driver? Did he steal the bus? Did he just have a sudden mental break after working for like 30 years as a horribly disfigured bus driver, doing the commute through the area where his whole family burned to death? Does his friend not know he's having a full blown psychotic episode? WTF is this mess of a story?

Love these two playing these games but I like how they don't know that I'm each intro before the curator song entrance every character at the start dies and that is out of your control. Also if they didn't know this game has a Cyclical Narrative so how these characters die at the start is how the hallucinated characters will die potentially due to your choices. Fun video nonetheless
