I've been watching brads hairdressing videos for a while now but sophia is new in my life and what a breathe of fresh air she's been!!! Me and my husband wasnt "love at first sight" but we do have a cool story! We were born on same army base 2 months apart, parents same age dads in military, probably played at the park together lol...when were were both 4 my family moved to alaska and his to arizona...then when we were around 9 we moved back to same town we were born in (which is not all that common for the army to send u back to home base), and our parents bought houses in same neighborhood. We remember meeting in 6th grade when he became friends with my brother and we dated for a bit in 8th/9th grade, i was even his first real kiss ♡ but then his dad got orders to move to VA :( so we broke up and lost touch. 4-5yrs later, his dad retired and they decided to move back to NC (even tho IN is home for them). I heard he was back and was trying to get in touch thru mutual friends, but the next weekend i just happened to see him walking in to walmart with a friend...so i ran inside to try & find him but when i did i realised i probably looked crazy and he might not even remember or want to see me lol and got super nervous so i just circled the aisle like 5 times til he noticed me and then acted surprised like i didnt know he was there 🤣🤣 we were together every day since, 20 years ago next year! And he let me think i had played off the walmart meet fiasco for several years lol....also i met my lifelong platonic soulmate bff sister at a psych hospital when we were 15 lol we were bad kids and our parents sent us there, which we lived 2hrs apart from each other and the place was several hrs from each of our hometowns so total randomness that we just happened to be there at same time! But those 3 days we connected super hard and we kept in touch (this was pre cell phone/social media btw), ended up having our kids real close in age and eventually she moved to my town :) still besties almost 25yrs later and now our kids are lifelong besties too!

Honest review - I came here because I love Brad’s hair fail videos and was curious. I can’t say I FULLY relate b/c I am a 33yo crunchy mom of two toddler girls from Colorado but I can say that the diff perspectives make me think and I am ok with that. You two are charismatic and there is a relaxed feel/easy flow for the most part! The relationship dynamics thooo are really confusing! 😅 Hopefully it doesn’t box you in because you two do make compatible hosts. I feel like Brad has some really grounding thoughts that show how compassionate he is and raises awareness despite his lovely antics. I feel like Sophia articulates thoughts in a way so many young women cannot or are afraid to - she doesn’t hide behind her looks or overcompensate when saying something useful/smart. You two also have gotten a lot more comfortable compared to the first episode! Good luck to you two!

Looks don’t last forever and having someone you connect with can laugh with, can emotionally support you matters more to me than what someone looks like. Also the one person I didn’t immediately fall for turned out to be ‘the one’…. I just can’t imagine how you can know enough to love someone at first sight - I think what you are talking about is Lust at first sight which possibly becomes love when you get to know them.

My husband fell in love with me after seeing my picture. He asked my friend if he and his friend could hang out with us the next night- something my friend sprang on me last minute. Not going to lie… I was kind of a brat to him because I just wanted to dance and hang out with my girlfriends - definitely not with this nervous guy who smiled too much and kept catching my eye. We kept running into each other at clubs/parties for the next 6 months and he helped me get rid of a super persistent guy by pretending to be my boyfriend. My friend gave him my number and promised I’d go out with him if he called which really pissed me off!!! I was just not interested in dating anyone at that time- but my friend thought we were perfect for each other. The first one-on-one changed everything- we just clicked. We got engaged 6 months later- married two years after that. It’s been 30 years and I feel so blessed to have the best husband and friend ever ❤ Oh- and of course my BFF was my maid-of-honor and our daughter’s godmother. So yeah- you can definitely fall in love at first sight- even from a picture. When you know you know 🥰 Love you two together and your podcast is my favorite🤩❤️

I wanna add my love at first sight story here! So it was more for my now husband, but it’s so so good. We met in a dorm room, all of us were watching a movie. My now husband walked in with a friend going for a run. He cracked a joke about my maiden name, I made a snotty remark at him and rolled my eyes. He left the room with a friend and told him “she will be mine”. We’ve been married for 10 years now and have 3 beautiful children.

My brother did long distance relationship with his fiance, they were in opposite ends of the world of eachother, and my brother waited to move to be with his with fiance for so many years, he's finally moving to be with his partner at the end of this month. My brother is leaving his family behind and I'll miss him so much! But at the same time we are happy for my brother to be with his fiance finally and they can start their life!!

I love seeing the looks in your eyes because it reminds me so much of me and my love ❤ I was managing a gas station and he had meetings once a week in the building behind mine. One day, out of the corner of my eye, I saw this truck almost drive into traffic and I looked at him and didn’t recognize him. I was outside vaping and wearing my daisy dukes, so I wasn’t suprised. A month or so later, this guy with “ chicken hair” started coming in and buying water every day. It was so awkward but for some reason I always looked forward to him coming in. I was NOT attracted to him at all! One day I was so sick I couldn’t go to work, and I was away for a week. Strangely I couldn’t help but wonder if he was wondering where I was. When I got back to work he said he thought I left 😂 We never had any conversations aside from a couple of words, but I always felt better when he came in. One day, I was so excited to skydiving and he was in front of me and I was like no, I’m not going to tell him, I don’t know him… but it came blurting out of my mouth! It was the first time we started to have a conversation. Still awkward! One day he handed me his business card and said to get in touch if I ever want to grab a beer. That weekend I couldn’t stop thinking of him, and I was like NO I’m not texting him… and then a couple days later it turns out I subconsciously put his card into my wallet ( usually I throw them out or leave them at work) I said “ it’s inky fair that you have my number, since I have yours” and I got a reply back JASMINEEEE!!!! We talked for hours! We couldn’t stop talking!!! For days!!! It just has never ended. The funny thing is neither of us wanted to date! It’s like it was meant to be. He was literally out celebrating with his brother that I never texted him back, when he got my text 😂 He’s married, and he thought I liked him but he’s a bit older than me and didn’t want to creep me out, so he decided to leave his card so that if I texted back, he would know I was interested, and if I didn’t text him, then he would never go into the gas station again. Every time he tried to tell me that he was flattered I texted him, but that I needed to know he’s married, we kept hitting it off and he didn’t tell me. Three days later I texted him good morning and I immediately got this long text that he had pre-written, telling me how he’s married and he didn’t mean to give me the wrong impression and he had a hard time telling me because we were hitting it off so well and he didn’t wanna lose me as a friend. I told him that technically I still had a boyfriend that I was planning to leave so we were both a little bit dishonest. I said, maybe we can just be friends I don’t wanna lose you completely. He told me he would never leave his wife. He wouldn’t do that to her and I didn’t want him to either. I never wanted to date him, but I felt so madly in love with him because we have everything in common. We are soulmates through and through. The worst heartache I ever went through, was knowing/thinking that I will never be with him, but I could not for the life of me give up the friendship, and it was tearing me apart. I left my abusive relationship, and then I thought to myself. Of course I would fall in love with someone that I can’t be with who is perfect for me. I told him I can’t do this to myself. I need to move on it’s not fair for my emotions that lasted a couple of days and I texted him after a few drinks and we were both so excited to talk to each other again. My thumbs still hurt years after from texting him like lightning Fast. His wife moved out here and he told her that he fell in love with someone else and she had to know. She left the next day and we’ve been together ever since. The end of their relationship has left us so financially stressed, and yet we have had blessing after blessing after blessing. We just keep trusting God that he has a plan for us, and that we’re meant to be together. We have been together for, I’m not even even shitting you, 3 1/2 years. We have moved to a small island, we have three children under the age of two, we just finished building our house that someone else actually paid for! We literally had someone on this beautiful property tell us that they want us to build a house on their property at their cost so that we can rent it. The past 3 1/2 years has been so difficult and trying and we’ve been through so much together but he is my person and my soulmate and we are so deeply in love. I am static for you, both that you have found each other. There is nothing better in this world than true love. What is meant to be yours will be yours and I believe that whole heartedly. Being true love has also shown me how jealous people can be because most people don’t experience this in life. It is only possible to truly be in love if you are 100% happy with yourself, and when both people are willing to grow together and give each other grace. I also truly believe that God is the reason our relationship has been so strong, and why we have had so many blessings. When we get beaten down and we haven’t had money for gas because we’re busy building this house we just keep trusting in God, and we have never went without. We may not have a lot of money in the bank right now, but we are the richest people on the planet❤
