I've been a fan of exo for 11 years and I think what theyre trying to portray with love shot is the feeling of when youre in a relationship and you and your partner is slowly drifting apart but you cant allow that so you take a love shot to face whatever happened in your relationship and to get courage to try and see if you can still fix the relationship by giving your all. That's why the tempo rose up again during the rap part after the bridge, accompanied by the lyrics "my heart is burning up. Im parched. In trust, im filling this void with you. Lighting up a fire in my lifeless heart." then them throwing flowers in the trunk as if to prepare an event or something then the dance went hardcore I dunno it might be something else 😅
