For the record I and I imagine most of us don’t care much about ryuvenge on expert levels that you died once on, it’s the super expert levels that end your run that I want to see you beat…otherwise it feels like the level gets to say that you couldn’t beat it. Just my thoughts. Hate to see the kahr lose

donkey kong country 2 is a way more challenging, exciting, fun game than SMW. They are both great, but I grew up playing the heck out of both. DKC2 multiplayer feature was so much fun with my siblings.

So 3 months left to complete the challenge? Yeah, I don't see this happening unless he really gets super lucky. Don't get me wrong though. Ryu is like a godlike Mario player, but there is just too many hot garbage/kaizo/troll gotcha levels that over the years have coalesced into an almost unbeatable wall of pain, denial and misery. Also if I recall correctly, there was like 4 times he got really close to beating this challenge in what? A year or more? I think if he'd chosen to complete this challenge when Mario Maker released or was relatively new he would have had more chance. So basically this comes down to bad timing. Alternatively if Nintendo pirates somehow manage to preserve the whole of Mario Maker's online features by let's say a cloud based, front and backend pirate server and multiple databases that could hold all the levels, then Ryu would have an unofficial chance. However I doubt Ryu would risk his career and reputation playing on a pirated Mario Maker, but who knows. He played on ROM hacks, though those ROM hacks are still a far cry from a fully functional, relatively new Nintendo property. Anyway I wish you luck Ryu! I hope you prove me wrong and will still watch your videos either way.

Just cheat and have Tammy looking up the levels as you get to each one. Some of those levels are nearly impossible to beat on the first try without previous knowledge.

Not really a Ryu specific question but can someone explain to me why a creator would want to have more than one channel? Ryu plays video games. It’s not like one channel is gaming, one is baking bread and another is interior decorating. It seems it would make it harder for fans to follow than just one central channel, or is it something with the YT algorithm that more channels helps?

I believe the main channel is for shorter Mario maker videos. This one is for longer videos, and the other is for other games. He built his channel up with Mario maker content. Changing the style of his content or having it mixed can make old subscribers leave if they only want the older style content. I don’t watch many of his uploads that aren’t Mario maker, and only watch some longer videos. Having 3 channels makes it easier for me to watch the content I want without having to dig through all of his videos. I believe the algorithms also prefer channels that have videos with more consistent views. Breaking up the content into channels helps with this.

if you post streams to your main channel (what this ones for) it’ll very quickly die. Same with content that his normal fans don’t watch (what his third channels for) and since it’s his way of making money you can imagine why he wouldn’t want that
