Man there are WAYYYY prettier in the Charlotte, NC area... I'm not in the market to spend $20K under my house though! Unfortunately, crawl space encapsulation is a bad idea in MOST cases in my opinion... I can go further into detail if you or anyone else wants my opinion... Thx for watching!!!!

@@advsLLC Well, I beg to differ with you on that one! When I bought my house in 2015, the crawl space (can only crawl, like the name says) stunk of black mold and mildew. I had a company in Michigan clean out all the fiberglass insulation that was full of mold. They made it look like the crawl space in your video and I don't even mind (a 76 year old woman) getting in there myself to vacuum the few spiders who die bc they can't live in that dry, clean environment. They also put in a sump pump and dehumidifier that were needed. They installed what they named a Turtle which when the top is lifted, it's like you're stepping into a well that surrounds and protects the crawl space opening. It was expensive, yes (for everything around $10,000, includes the pump/dehumidifier) but I've had no worries about mold, smell, or flooding under my house for 9 years now!!

Thank you. When we are told to "clean a vent" the variables you are bringing up are things to be aware of. These people likely struggled with "dryers that wouldn't dry the clothes well", maybe bought machines or part after part, without resolution.

Yeah, Dude you need to wear something more than a cloth mask! The dust AND THE CARBON MONOXIDE (from gas dryers) is gonna slowly KILL YOU! You’re young now but all that dust, lint, hair etc is gonna have a helluva an impact on your lungs in the future. Dust (like woodworking dust-very fine) goes right through that cloth mask you’re wearing.

Yea, the crawl was in great shape man! Not sure where you are however crawl space or foundation companies are doing GREAT in southern NC! And homeowners are paying DEARLY for that beauty!

Yup! Honestly, it could use a foundation well to provide a bit more clearance. There were multiple issues with the vent however they think they got a new dryer now! Thanks for watching Jason!

Well, I have a dryer hose cleaning kit I just bought and am waiting for the mood to hit me to do it myself. I'm a 76 year old woman who lives alone so gotta do all the doable stuff myself. I keep the dryer screen clean and catch all the outside lint in a kind of cloth vented bag that I empty constantly. The 3 feet or so of the last part of the hose to the outside vent is clean and the air flow strong. I just want to make sure there's nothing in between I can't see. Answer me this, please...how does a wrist band that has a metal piece in it get lost between my putting it in the dryer with other clothes and taking the dry clothes out? It's a mystery! I've gone through every piece of laundry it was dried with and nothing! A 2nd wrist band that I also washed with it and dried with it was there! It's impossible for it to get into the dryer drum or hose bc the space where the screen is is too tight. What do you think happened to it?

Why? The air and lint would've blown the tarp up normally... Plus, the tarp is "slick" and it would've spread the lint farther vs the rough mulch that will help contain... IDK but I'm always up for suggestions!

An old school Whirlpool! They were work horses and don't have all the electronic components... They don't make them like they use to is 100% accurate on this one!!!

Because it was a 2-story home with the dryer in middle of house on first floor... That's the issue in the Southeast... We stopped putting our dryers on an exterior wall.
