I would argue this is easier than normal heatseeker. Just cause in heatseeker something that gets you scored on in the more advanced stages of the rally is you not being able to go back in net fast enough after you have hit the ball. But with this mode, you are basically pushed into net so you almost never are out of position. Unless you are hitting the ball very badly.

It would be really fun to see this in a free space map. Like the old space map where the goals are kinda free floating so when the ball bumps you back you’re taken out for a few seconds

I feel it's easier on the defense than vanilla heatseeker, you get sent to your net on every touch, ready to defend again, or at least to your backboard. In vanilla heatseeker you can get out of position pretty fast. I'd say it's harder to attack or make great plays but not on the defense. Might just be a feeling tho

Hey leth loved the video. also thought of a game mode idea. its called lights out rocketleague. i was thinking the whole map would be pitch-black but the ball is lit up. i was thinking it would be cool to not be able to see your car at all even while being on the ball. also not being able to see the opponents or offenders. i guess the goal would need to be lit a little as well though.

Suggestion: rock paper scissors Each person has 3 goals, one correlating to rock paper or scizzors, they are high up and difficult to score in, if you miss rhats a pint for opponant, and if u score it works like regular rock paper scissors

Can you do it where if the ball is traveling at X speed it demos a car on contact? Imagine sending out a ground pinch that just blows up all defenders on its way into net. Maybe balance it with wheel catches don't blow you up

Weird idea, but heatseeker but when it reaches a certain speed, i breaks out of the map and there either nothing and it respawns or there is a bigger extension of the map. Not sure how the speed thing will work, but just an idea.

Can you play heatseeker, but after the touch, the ball will go up and down, based on your car? Like if you jump up, the ball would go up. If you jumped down from the ceiling, the ball would go down. The ball would track your car’s movements.
