Next time you are pushing a grip like that, and there is a big glob of glue been pushed on the front, try covering the back with your palm, then pull back slowly. It will create a suction and take some of that glue in.

Interesting cutting jig. Did you buy that or make it yourself.

How would you go about fixing a loose reel housing? It spins separately to the rod. Relatively new rod

Hi Gary, hi American Tackle, I’ve watched a couple videos where people simply pour boiling water on the dented EVA and it comes back to its initial shape. What’s your advice on that? Is there a risk of damaging the carbon blank by doing so? Thanks!

Hi not sure how you managed to remove that aluminium winding check off the butt of the the rod normally the blank gets thicker down there. Would you normally have to try and cut it ?
@AmericanTackle Жыл бұрын
it depends on the sizing done for that winding check. If it is smaller than the butt end you could move it forward and the cut it off

Are those handles heavier thank a simple split grip (for example) , and if so how much? I m just curious, because tey look very aestethic .

The carbon is actually lighter. I am not sure on the difference but we have worked for years on our carbon handles for not only the look but the functionality of our grips. Carbon is much more sensitive than eva allowing the angler to have a better feel of things happening to the bait
