I visited Serbia many times between 1990 and 2015 on business trips. The people are well educated and open and friendly. I have a lot of good memories. The 1999 war was a criminal act, planned years before ist started. NATO did not really attack the army but destroyed a whole lot of factories and infrastructure. To repeat it. It was a criminal act based on lies and the perpetrators should go behind bars forever.

There has never been a natural, spontaneous bad blood between Serbs and Germans. In fact, as a Serb, I believe Germans are both culturally and psychologically closer to us Serbs than are, say, Americans or the British. I like to think that the only ever reason for which Germans were motivated to wage wars against Serbs was because of the insidious politicians and intellectuals who sold their anti-Serb, warmongering narrative to the public in Germany. Had it not been for the vitriolic anti-Serbism in the 1990s Germany spouted by Günther Grass, Sir Peter Ustinov, Helmuth Kohl, Joschka Fischer and others, Germany might have said "no" to its participation in the bombing of Yugoslavia. To be sure, I don't blame the ordinary people of Germany for anything. You have been held captive by your globalist government for decades. Serbia, too, fell victim to the globalist rule once Milošević was ousted from power in 2000.

@Lieutenant Nikola Fischer is the "Grandfather" of all the others. No education, no formation/studies, never did a serious job. A hooligan and rowdy. In his car a gun was transported, which was used in a morder case. Nothing happened to him. In the early 1980ies, he started to chase the industry out of the country. Since that time Germany is exporting jobs and imports jobless people. He and his companions weakened us a lot. And the new greens will push us over the cliff within 2 years time.

Can you please explain how czech people "lost their pride", while serbian people did not? Did the UK and France lose their independence, when they objected the annexation of Czechia in 1939? Should they have just let Germany annex Poland in 1939? Is it that difficult to understand, that internal policy and external policy are different things? I partly agree on many parts with Putin's internal policies. That does not mean that I would agree with him, if he tried to annex Czechia (or half of Ukraine) for no apparent or reasonable reason. Thumbs down from Greece. 👎🏻

Serbia is and always was multicultural society where all national minorities are recognized and have rights. Serbs are and always were a welcoming nation, its deeply rooted in our tradition. Belgrade is and always was cosmopolitan city that welcomes all, yet in the western media we are portrayed as blood thirsty xenophobic warmongers. Being opened to everything and everyone is our blessing and our curse. I'll use Madeleine Albright as an example for that. When she was a little girl in the dawn of nazi conquest of Europe Serbs helped her and her family not to be one more number in Auschwitz. Sixty or so years later she payed us back with bombs and pure hate for all things Serbian, hate that she couldn't even hide. Anyway, Kovačica is beautiful, people there are awesome, Serbs, Slovaks, Hungarians all living together and you should be proud of your ancestry.

We see world in between we don't like Western "freedom" neither we like Eastern "conservative" . We dont want womens to walk like ninjas or be under us ,but we dont like them being over us. We more value some "White knight ,muvie relationship" that used to live among us and still is kinda alive. We don't hate LGBT everyone has their own rights but we dont want them parade or have any extra right. We value family and died for it in so many wars no matter who was against us(History prove it). West have in our opinion retarded views ,but we also hate any sort of comunism (beside those small amount who think Tito was "saint"). We dont see any nation better or worst then us ,so we dont want any country to act as they are smarter then us. We gave a world Nikola Tesla ,Milankovic and Pupin. So no one should judge our inteligence. Large amount of Roman emperor had our blood ,in veins of ottoman sultans were our blood from our womens. Ottoman grand Vezire and some of most known was from our kind. Great sportsman like Djokovic ,Jokic etc . We are more then capable to chose for ourself .All we need from USA and Russia is to let us do what we want ,not what they think we should do.

Specially because of many dead children who died in their homes from NATO bombs. Pretty sure majority of Serb immigration to US was into Texas and Illinois, a lot of them went to Texas in the 1920-1950s. They would often change names to more American ones mostly so people could pronounce it and by now they're 3-4-5th generation Texans and either know little or nothing of their heritage. The ones in Ilinois tho were more prone to keeping their names because the Chicago itself was very high on immigrants from all over Europe and changing names was kinda pointless as a lot of people had Italian, Polish, Serbian, Romanian, German names etc

I am an American living in Europe and I have visited Belgrade twice for a total of three weeks. What I found amazing is nobody was in my way and I was not in my way. For me, it had the perfect pace and it is my favorite European city. Regarding Ukraine and Putin, I have a question that nobody in the west seems to know the answer. The Ukraine military was shelling civilians in Southern Ukraine for seven years and thousands of civilians died. Nothing could get Ukraine to stop so Putin had to find a way to stop the shelling. Biden could have stopped US aid until Ukraine agreed to abide by Minsk peace agreements but he didn't.

Not only that, people that do come out, get attacked by young radicals. Beaten, spit on, and many other things. Police usually stand by and do nothing. So, 20 year old, beating on 60, 70 year old women. , only because they come out to place flowers on uknown soldiers grave. Those radicals funded by the west, to create more divisions in Ukraine, and they have youth camps, where they teach kids to hate Russian. Ironically, those kids r russians, living in Ukraine. Otherwise, teaching them to hate people that could be their relatives, more than 80% of them, do have relatives in Russia. Blowes my mind. I am Ukranian, that lives in America, and Ukranians and Russian here, get along just fine, because they were not exposed to anti Russian propaganda, like Ukranians in Ukraine are.
