Loved that capture footage of the car illegally passing you, meeting an upcoming car, and having to hit the brakes and cut you off to get back into their proper lane - that's pretty realistic lol

Farming simulator - Nintendo Switch edition is a direct port of Farming simulator 17. This version, and Farming simulator 20 are both ports of the mobile versions and are very stripped back compared to the full games. I would recommend getting the first game as it’s a lot more in depth than this version, I’ve put over 150 hours into it so far

As an actual chicken farmer, this one is a must play for me!! I'll have to wait for a sale, but its on my wishlist for sure!!!

I believe a Simulator game should include all that fine detail to allow people to immerse themselves into the experience, but I do enjoy having it as an optional quality which they have included. "Farming XP in an RPG," nice one Glen!!

I've played the Nintendo Switch version (FS17) that was about $20, this is $45 for a mobile game essentially (It's $8 on mobile) I like the games and the series but I can't justify the price when a more polished version is available on Xbox game pass.

As someone who works on a farm, it seems surprisingly acurate. I will definitelly try it out!

The Hot Fuzz bit was hilarious 🤣

Played the game for a few days now. Overall a nice lightweight version of the PC edition. However: the Switch can barely handle it without any hired workers. As soon as you start hiring workers to deliver stuff it starts to lag quite a lot. Sometimes the game freezes for 5 to 10 seconds when a worker has reached a certain waypoint (like loading/unloading). Really hope they can optimize it a little more for us Switch users. Price is another issue: it cost me way more than when I picked up the Desktop version (FS22). Quite steep for what really is just a mobile version.

I played a lot of Farming Simulator Switch Edition (2017) and loved it. I know they re-release this game every year on other platforms but does this version really give enough new content to warrant buying it again?

This could be called Clarkston farm sim. With me crashing into things ,wiggly crop lines , and animals escaping like he does in the prime series. Hope we can hire his farm hand hero.

I'm thankful for this video as I've been curious about this game series and i admit it looks surprisingly addictive, just like the Euro/American Truck driving games were.

Never played this one before. Might pick it up in a sale. As it is price seems a bit steep. My chickens are already expensive enough at the market, I prefer my games and virtual animals to be on the cheaper side! Especially when your vids keep making me want new games I'd never heard of every week😂

The ability to hire workers to automaticly work the fields has been a thing on every version since farming simulator 08 (including fs17 on switch, which I own, as well as on the 3ds version, if I`m not misremembering), and so has the ability to instantly swap vehicles. I don`t know if previous versions had the ability to automate other tasks though, so that`s potentially a major improvement over previous games... I will say that the game kind of looks like a somewhat paired down version of fs22, which isn`t a bad thing, though I`d argue the price is a bit high for what it is... The biggest shame of all though, is that in the 15 years or so I`ve known about and have been playing these games off an on (since the aformentioned fs08, as well as fs13, a bit of both fs15 and fs17 on pc, fs17 on switch, and most recently fs22 on xbox and pc), the handling and physics haven`t been improved in the slightest, and the trend seems to continue with this game... Other than that, this does indeed look like a compelling way to play fs on the go (for those who would rather play on the switch rather than shell out for a steam deck or ROG Ally and play the pc version), and probably make the previous game on switch pointless (I`m talking about fs20, which was apparantly a streight port of the mobile game, which had apparantly been dumbed down to the point of not even allowing to walk around outside of vehicles) I`ll be keeping an eye out for this one for sure, though I`ll be waiting for a decent price drop on sale...

I came for the Hot Fuzz reference, I stayed for the videogames.

I tried one of these years ago...couldn't drive the truck in a straight line and it looked like a drunk raccoon was attempting to create a crop circle vs the nice even rows require for effective farming. Haven't quite met a true-to-life sim game that hits quite yet... Though the fact that the passage of time can be controlled in such a way makes me more interested. I always feel pressured by the countdown. And being able to focus on forestry and animal husbandry is also peaking my interest. And OnDemand AI workers to simplify and multi-task....hmmmm The rundown of this game is appreciated!

I'm too much of a Niche Player to watch a review of a Farming Simulator. Hot Fuzz on the other hand. Yeah I watched that multiple times.

My issue with this game is that both this and the last Switch entry within this series have been extremely pared down versions of the full game. Heck, this release is literally just the mobile version of this game with the monetization handled a bit differently. The first Switch port GIANTS Software released was a proper port of one of their full PC entries, and it was fantastic. Everything since? Less so. As someone who has put loads of hours into this series over the years, I'll probably play this... but man... I can't help feeling like the dev has decided to just be lazy and do mobile ports on Switch, rather than putting forth the effort to give us the features and graphics the Switch could actually handle. And that sucks.

Have to admit it’s a bit lacking compared to the predecessors. At least the Switch version. I know for the off Switch models, you could see the moving parts of the machinery, had options to mess around with the lights, etc. I know they carried it on in the later versions. This feels like a mobile version, and looks worse than the NS version of ‘17.

Do not buy. Console version of the game is way better. This strips out 80% of the game, no exaggeration. Way less tractor, gear and map options, maps are way smaller, can't build new structures, no landscaping what so ever, way less settings options, there is no cruise control, runs like poo poo the whole time. And idk about PS but on Xbox, this was on game pass. Do not buy.
