You can also clip through the floor of the depths and get to around 3,000 units, give or take a couple hundred

I love how the adventure begins by diving from the highest point of the map to the first area, then ends by diving down to the lowest point of the map to face Ganondorf (yes I know the Lookout Landing tablet platform is technically higher, but there's literally no reason to go there).

You don't even have to initiate the battle. You can just go down there. I've actually placed a couple of Travel Medallions around that area, especially the deepest point

Or just finish the fight, then glitch out of the barrier with water shield and recall, and then reach further down.

Going by the fact that no sky islands were mentioned despite the Wind Temple being directly above the second highest peak in Hyrule, you should be able to thell they aren't including sky islands, very likely for the simple reason of the Depths not giving half a shit about what's in the sky

Fun story when I was beating the game and fought the army down there one of the sages hit one of the lizalfos down on to the ledge and when I killed them all I was looking around why isn’t the next wave staring so then I’m running around trying to find it then I get a stream of water shot at me and then I find it and drop a nuke on it

@@mr.awesome6011 The gameplay loop and mechanics of TotK itself are fantastic, my point is that the content variety/density in the Depths is rather sparce and leaves something to be desired, at least compared to the overworld and even the Sky Islands.

@@murdoc296 I spent a ton of time in the depths and wasn't bored. But that was probably because I didn't use any bloom seeds. So, nearly everything is dark for me. Gives the area a ton of 'depth' and feels like there is nearly infinite content there.

A whole underground and pitch black overworld you have to use lighting to traverse is so damn cool, especially contrasting the Surface and Sky. I just wish there were more unique landmarks.

Technically no, it's not the lowest part of the depths that you can stand on there is a space lower if you clip out of bounds which is completely covered with gloom and has zero friction. I don't know the value of that though

@@hummusfishcrackers4623 that’s not on the surface. The reason I brought that up was because the depths is an inverted map of the surface. So logic would dictate that to find the lowest point in the depths, you should find the highest point on the surface. Also I did make a short about the highest sky island 😀
