Haha, I hope so! The weak point in my local area on all hiluxes has been the frame rusting through, due to salted roads in winter. Hopefully, Fluid FIlm will creep around and protect all those hard-to-reach places. Thanks for watching, once again! ❤️

One interesting story is that once i had a diesel canister turn over in a pickup bed, spilled fuel had partialy melted rust protector (wich was under bedliner like yours) mixed with it and ran down all over frame and exhaust. After this truck was completely unusable it smelled like oil refinery from 50 meters away, driving with open window would give you instant headache. I had to completely degrease this killer toxic mix, sprayed everything were this mix got in with heavy duty degreaser, then had to wash out degreaser also. After that experience I would rather let the car rust away :) Worst thing was, that after fuel spilled this mixing didn't happen instantly but was getting worse slowly day by day so at first I even didn't know what was wrong :)

Ouch! That sounds like a not so fun experience. The FluidFilm makes the truck smell like a sheep barn for 2 weeks, most people can't stand it. But honestly, after the first day or two when the smell is pretty strong, it mellows out and I kind of enjoy it now, lol. Thanks for sharing your experience, I hope that never happens to you again. I bought 3 spray cans of that stuff 4 years ago then I lost interest of crawling on the ground to spay it on so I took my Jeep to a place that puts on NH Undercoating, but they only spray the under side, not in door panels like you did........

I appreciated the lift for doing this. I can't imagine crawling under jack-stands, I'd probably take it to a place as well in that case. Thanks for the comment! ❤️

Great job! Good for u for taking such great care of your Toyota. I had an 81 SR5 4x4. I envied u for having a lift, but u be careful! Maybe have someone go over it. U are a young guy. Great attitude/nice guy. I sub'd/gave u a 👍. 🖖🇺🇸

Too bad they're all rusted up real bad in my specific area, mostly due to the salt on our main roads during winter. And if you can find one that's been properly taken care of, you can be sure they're asking a hefty stack of cash for it. Very enjoyable comment. I'm glad you liked the video. Thanks again 😊

It's actually quite decently priced in my opinion. You can do an entire car for about $80. The most expensive part is the sprayer, about $250 for it. Thanks for the comment, and for watching ❤️

You forgot to spray it inside the axhaust pipe :p Do they spray salt on the roads in your part of Norway ? I've been to Norwegian Lapland on vacation several times, and it seems they only put sand/gravel on the road (not 100% sure of it).

Haha, true. Yes, they use salt in town and on highways in the south here. To my knowledge, they don't use it at all up north. Also, for the most part, it's not used in higher altitudes. Like for my local area, it's only ever used if it's raining when the asphalt is cold, so when the rain hits the ground, it freezes up and becomes like a skating ring. Typically, this can happen at the very start and end of winter. Thanks for your comment, and for watching! ❤️

I don't think salt is used if temperatures go under -10c. At that point you'll need so much salt that it becomes a environmental hazard

@AndreasHappyfarm You're probably right. That makes sense. And also, when it's very cold, like -10c as you say, the traction increases dramatically as well.
